Dr. Danielle N. Lee, who writes for the Scientific American blog network and calls herself "the Urban Scientist," believes that the push to visit Mars and eventually inhabit it is "white colonialism."
Dr. Lee expressed her concerns in both the Scientific American blog and on Twitter. Writing in Scientific American in an article titled, "When discussing Humanitys next move to space, the language we use matters," Dr. Lee discusses Elon Musk's push to inhabit Mars some day.
She is very critical of Musk, saying that his language is not inclusive enough to either women and minorities. "Diversity, Inclusion, Access and Ethics should be a critical part of these conversations about space science, discovery, exploration, and yes eventual travel and emigration," she writes. "And when we look around and see a homogenous [sic] group of individuals discussing these issues issues that command insane budgets, we should pause."
On Twitter, she was much more forward, writing:
Keep in mind, Musk never said that space colonization was for only whites. In fact, he never mentioned race once. The only reference to people by Musk in Dr. Lee's article was when Musk said that "humans" must get excited to explore space.
No matter, Dr. Lee has more to say about his ideas:

You are correct sir!
And they are angry. Verrry angry.
We COULD put them into orbit, with enough fuel, O2 and food to get there, and if we were nice, point out which dot in the sky is Mars, and turn them loose. I figure one in fifty will make it into orbit around Mars.
The other 49? Burned up on entry, drifting slowly toward Persei Omecron 8, a momentary flash on the surface of the Sun...
We can have non-denominational memorials for each crash. Imagine an ethnic womyn's studies PHD trying to fly a re-entry vehicle. I have to smile at the mental image. Her screaming 'racisss!' as the re-entry fireball starts to build.
Libtards' reality is created by and dependent on language, feelings, society, and culture rather than being objective and independent. Of course she is going to be more concerned about the way people talk rather than the way things actually are.
Still the best explanation.
She probably has no idea he’s from S.A.
And the racist beat goes on-—and on-—and on.
.
...and she writes scatology.
Agree with point #2. Whereas with point #1, I have yet to see an actual victim of racism. I put them in the same category of yelling “fire” in a crowed theatre when there is no fire.
Might as well get to the rest of the idiot list black and liberals will say:
1. The Sun came up in the East. That’s racist.
2. Gravity pulls things towards the center of the Earth, and that’s racist.
3. Water makes things wet, and that racist.
4. Everyone dies some day, and that’s racist.
5. I was born black, and that’s racist.
6. The oceans are deep, and that’s racist.
7. Everything white is racist, and that’s racist.
IF, IF she escapes Earth’s gravity.
You’re right, she could cause an eclipse.
I’m thinking of a space program that rhymes with “Pigs in Spaaaaace!!!!!)
(Don’t want to get banned)
;^)
Even though your plan make my brain swell, it just might work:-)
Another brilliant insight from the AffAct racist mob.
Yes. We agree. I was being cynical on both points. But you know that.
I think that's generous if they had to find the moon once they were in orbit.
OK dat’s funneh right there
THAT WON TWEAKIN SCYNTISS..right there yall!!
