Hillary? Rand Paul? Ted Cruz? Marco Rubio?
Four major candidates have stepped forward to run for the Democratic and Republican nominations for president, and a few more are sure to follow soon.
Their entrances into the race couldnt be more different. Republicans Marco Rubio, Rand Paul, and Ted Cruz went the more traditional route with kickoff events. Hillary Rodham Clinton went big on social with a much anticipated video and tweet combination, but is keeping events low-key to start except for a Monday evening visit to Chipotle.
So whos winning the media battle at this very early stage? Take our poll below or tweet at @PRWeekUS to have your say.
Poll
Which early presidential candidate is winning in the media?
Hillary Clinton: Her announcement made the biggest splash. And look at the coverage shes getting just for stopping by Chipotle.
Ted Cruz: A traditional entry to the race to be sure, but he understands his partys base.
Rand Paul: Hes much more social media savvy than his rivals for the GOP nod.
Marco Rubio: Hes the only candidate to clearly differentiate himself from the pack with his youthful message.
Walker was until he failed to lead when given opportunities, that Cruz capitalized on.
They only list declared candidates in this poll anyway.
A poll to FReep for the ‘Cruz or Lose’ ping list ...
Well, it helps when you know what you actually believe, and can articulate it.

Who cares what they “groupthink”?
If Cruz pulls out in front, they will try to destroy him
They are the enemy.
I didn’t just FReep it, I CRUZ’d it!
I dont think Cruz is made of destroy able stuff.
neither was Ronald Reagan!
Still waiting the Dem Dark Horse...
Wait, is that racist?
Hillary left back (no pun intended) at 4 votes and 6%
UNITE BEHIND TED CRUZ!!!
It is now. I heard PETA is trying to get legislation passed to rename the Bluegill because of race discrimination.
” I dont think Cruz is made of destroy able stuff.
neither was Ronald Reagan!”
Very similar type men. Reagan had one distinct advantage, and that was extensive media experience. Cruz is sharp enough to learn quickly though.
Yellow Bellies...Ooops!
I thought of "DotGills". But then I thought Indians (dotnotfeathers) might be offended.
Juan Ellisimo Bush is by far the Democrat & MSM fav.
That's easy. Hillary Clinton.
Ted Cruz - “He understands his party’s base”.. WTF? HE UNDERSTANDS THE CONSTITUTION!! Even with this intentionally lack-luster description he’s still in the lead.
Not “with” the media. It’s “IN” the media and that’s Ted Cruz of course!
