On the first day we saw the North Charleston, South Carolina, shooting video of Walter Scott by Officer Michael Slager we were as shocked as everyone. However, as research now indicates there is much more to the story.
What we cover here in the latest update might just change the entire way the story continues

You don’t know what he put in his report. None of us do. The officials want to stave off riots and looting and massive arson, and keep their positions, so obviously they will throw Slager to the wolves.
It appears that you are getting more insane by the minute.
On the subject of the report, I believe it was poster Crim who said he knew what was in the report. But when I asked him for the source of the report, he didn't respond.
Complete nonsense. No premeditation detectable whatsoever.
You have a link to the report?
Thank you, that picture also clarifies a great deal. Both were in a physical scuffle on the ground with Scott above the officer.
Do really think I need one?
Do really think I need one?
Well what exactly do you have that makes you think you know what's in the report?
The point is to STOP THE THREAT, the training is not to either kill or wound, necessarily. When I was young the training was aim to wound rather than to kill, however that was long ago. If you are focused on stopping the threat, you aim for the best way to do that with minimum collateral damage and loss.
It’s fact. A cop facing someone with a taser who is a threat can use deadly force.
What's in the report? Aren't you tired of playing games?
I am sorry. I fully understand now.
Now Karl, why would I ask for a link to the report if I already knew what was in the report?
Aren't you tired of playing games?
Yes, I'm tired of a few people playing games implying that they know what's in the report.
I agree with all you aay. Tell us more.

There’s Slager’s defense team’s fulcrum. At :17-18 in the video, he is justified to shoot Scott because Scott has wrestled the taser from him. He decides, then fails to reel it back in as event unfolds at rapid speed, in the frenzy of the chaotic train.
The prosecution better come up with lesser charges if they don’t want Slager to walk completely.
We know what his fellow officers reported. And in none of their narratives does Slager mention he'd been tazed. In all the talk about EMT response none of the attention is given to Slager. Don't you think that if he had been tazed or if he had been in a struggle then he would have been examined by one of the EMT responders?
The officials want to stave off riots and looting and massive arson, and keep their positions, so obviously they will throw Slager to the wolves.
There's that overly-tight tinfoil beanie again.
Except there is no evidence that Slager had been tazed.
There’s no attempt to use deadly force without a firearm or other deadly instrument in the hand. Tasers aren’t considered deadly.
I guess you haven’t seen the video of Slager being debriefed with his pants leg up to his knee. You DID see the upshot of the struggle over the taser, didn’t you? Sort of went viral on the internets
I didn't say he had been tased. I said "at least one prong embedded".
Look at the freaking video. He has a taser lead embedded in his torso and another either wrapped around his leg or in his leg.
