wow...
unbelievable
this may have just cost us the presidency in 2016, the entire right will stay home
Literally
God won't tolerate our nation spitting in His face forever. He, not us, made the US rich and powerful, and He can, and will, make it poor and weak if we continue down the path we're on now.
yep, Walker showed how to stand up to them, but the RINO’s never learn.
rush just had a bit about this being a media matters hitjob operation. Even FNC is “all in” the homosexual camp (they are in the NYC echo chamber).
However if he does not sign it, it automatically becomes law in that state.
The bill automatically becomes law in Arkansas after 5 days.
The bill will automatically become law 5 days after the bill reaches Hutchinson, which was yesterday.
On unions Walker stood up and a lot of the business elite liked that no doubt and I liked it too and gave him money.
But on this religious freedom issue, Walker ducked it saying “its up to Indiana” in the face of business elite opposition to the religious freedom law.
Looks like Walker walks in lockstep with the business elites-corporatists at this point.
During NAZI Germany, the Jews made up a small percentage of the population. That’s why they made the ideal scapegoats. There were not enough of them to fight back, and few of the German populace knew any on an intimate personal level.
I know things look bleak, but we only hurt ourselves when we give in to a defeatist attitude. There are a lot of Christians in this country, and we need to spur one another on to standing for our rights. We are losing our rights for two reasons: we think they’re secure, and we think we cannot fight back effectively. Both reasons are incorrect.
oooohhh someone might call him a whatever-phobe.
To heck with what the majority want... we cannot be called a whatever-phobe at any expense!
He said he wants the bill changed just like Pence did in Indiana yesterday. Both governors are caving into the corporate elite pressure with their statements.
If Muslims were in charge, the homos would be publicly executed.
Crickets from the left on that fact.
So was the State of Arkansas.
-----
Arkansas ConstitutionArticle One
Sec. 24 - Religious liberty All men have a natural and indefeasible right to worship Almighty God according to the dictates of their own consciences; no man can, of right, be compelled to attend, erect, or support any place of worship; or to maintain any ministry against his consent. No human authority can, in any case or manner whatsoever, control or interfere with the right of conscience; and no preference shall ever be given, by law, to any religious establishment, denomination or mode of worship, above any other.

Just follow our constitutions and keep the oath!
What a bunch of p*ssies we have in office..so once again the homos win, by FORCING people to go against their own religious beliefs and serve these deviant POS’S..fine, two can play at that game, your going to see more and more businesses just flat out lie to people and say “Im sorry, we used to do wedding cakes but not anymore, our cake maker quit a few months ago” people can pretty much spot a fruitcake a mile away, you just have to eyeball it because otherwise what choice do we have
Elected Republican = caveman
When walker stood up to the unions temper tantrum, he won.
When chic fila stood up to the gay mafia, they won.
over and over we have been shown what to do, and what not to do.
Whenever conservatives cave... the only thing they accomplish is making both the left AND the right detest them!
When they stand up for what's right, the left hates, fears, but grudgingly respects them and the right stands with them with pride.
‘Big Business-Big Corporations got to Pence and Hutchinson on this issue.’
we have a winner.
It isn’t just that these caving pols are wrong as in the right or wrong thing to do; they are also just plain stupid.
The public will back them as in the case of Chick Fil A’s business increasing, the CEO of the company - can’t remember the name - who is on food stamps now for trashing their employee etc. But no, pols let these well funded and highly organized emailers and robocallers stampede them when all they had to do was give the normal people time to rally.
The difference? CFA etal has convictions, pols do not. So once again we are treated to not the tail but the flea “wagging” the dog. And each time that happens it further emboldens this tiny minority.
From a purely technical perspective, the Federal religious freedom act only applies to Federal actions; the courts have ruled that it doesn’t apply down to the states.
What the Gov is doing here, by asking that it mirror Federal law is a cya maneuver. Remember that the issue Progs are raising about the IN law is that it’s “different” than the Federal one. It doesn’t matter that the difference is pretty trivial (allowing religious freedom to be used in court as a legal defense against private-party discrimination suits), the fact that there IS a difference allows that difference to be exploited for political purposes.
2/3 is not needed in Arkansas. They only need a majority.
CFA didn’t really “stand up” as I recall it.
They simply pointed out that the views being attacked were those of the owner, not the corporation. And the corporation already had very strong non-discrimination policies in place that met/exceeded what the Progs were demanding.
What happened was that the public, seeing CFA being bullied, stood up for it.
