One of those pictures is from a dating site.

For those that keep insisting he was sick and couldn’t respond

“”Between 09:30:52 and 09:30:55 you can see that the autopilot was manually changed from 38,000 feet to 100 feet and 9 seconds later the aircraft started to descend, probably with the ‘open descent’ autopilot setting,” Fredrik Lindahl, chief executive of the Swedish tracking service said by email.

Proof of intentional crashing doesn’t get much more definitive than that.

Maybe some pilot can chime in...

Can the autopilot malfunction to 100 feet when this service said it was done manually, the door malfunction when it has to be done manually to lock it , and a man have a heart attack all in the same time as a Pilot goes to the bathroom????

That kept the cockpit door locked?

The plane began the dive when the pilot was outside the cockpit. If there was an instrument malfunction and the plane was out of control, the last thing he's going to do is take his hands off the steering wheel (or whatever it is)and leave his seat to go back and unlock the door.........

Not saying a malfunction was the case but that would explain why the door remained locked.

the last thing he's going to do is take his hands off the steering wheel (or whatever it is (it's actually called a "yoke")) and leave his seat to go back and unlock the door

Remember the descent was over a period of between 8 to 18 minutes (depending on where you get the information from). That's a long time even to fight a brain-damaged airplane.

If this was a legit fight with the plane, you'd think he'd want a 6,000 hour captain in the cockpit with him fighting it - and it's only three feet from the right seat to the door.

There was no shout, "It's in a dive!" or "Get the %$^&*&* in here and help me!". Nothing recorded but the captain banging on the door... or so we're told.

The plane did not begin a "dive". By all accounts, it has been referred to as a "controlled descent". This means the nose was up, not down.

Richard Healing, a former member of the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board, said the events disclosed today leave some room for alternative interpretation.

‘Incapacitated’

“You can’t rule out the possibility at this point of the pilot who was remaining in the cockpit becoming incapacitated simultaneous with when the other pilot walked out,” he said. “It’s more likely that the pilot may have done something intentionally, but you can’t conclude that until the flight data recorder is recovered.”

I agree with the above remarks. Some things don't add up, despite the apparent deliberate actions. He was too calm. They could hear him breathing normally on the voice recorder, from some of the four cockpit microphones. He didn't taunt anyone, mumble anything, or just point the airplane straight down, or simply shut off the two engines. Instead he did it in such a way as to keep the passengers calm until just before the end, when they realized from the Captain's reaction just outside the door that they were doomed. Not manic, too deliberate for someone that had to have been deeply disturbed to commit such a horrific act.

Then why wasn’t he yelling that he was trying to unlock the door? Or the plane was going crazy? Now that the info is out your statement is stupid.

I hope more will come out about the Pilot who frantically tried to stop the murderer.

I hope so too.
Crazy or sane, I have no interest whatsoever in hearing any more about the mass killer.

Until all the facts are in I bet it was a computer problem.

Shirley you jest!

The "computer problem" locked the pilot out?

Oh boy...

The normal breathing and seemingly calm behavior are unusual in the extreme

The door is locked by a toggle switch the pilot controls.

It should not cost "millions" to add an armored keypad override means of entry for each flight where three persons have their own individual code for that flight to open the cabin door from the exterior, with a common secret password if necessary to signal that he/she is not being coerced. The captain, the first officer and the chief steward on the flight.

Having a single person in the cockpit, ever, is an open invitation to endless repetitions of this event.

“”Do the research or don’t.””

WOW! That is what I call someone who can’t justify their words when questioned about what their post means. Wouldn’t it be just as simple to say I don’t know anything except for “other pilot things.” I would have expected since you noted the prosecutor’s briefing that there would be something specific there but it eluded me if there was. Sorry to bother you.

Very good suggestion. He might have been irritated by the conversation, and gone into “steroid rage”. These drugs are very dangerous - and a silent, deadly anger and desire to kill everyone might be the result.

there are PLENTY of specifics. It fails me why you can’t bother to find them..and I am not going to go back and look to give you the EXACT info.
Sheesh, do the research or continue to look uninformed as you maintain it is possible he was sick or whatever else thing you want to come up with that doesn’t involve INTENTIONAL MURDER

Auto Pilot was MANUALLY adjusted after the pilot was locked out according to those who monitor such things.
