Once that was done, I prepped for the major disasters we have here on Earth, including wild-fire and tornados.
My latest little problem, with stage IV terminal cancer, is a good example. My most important prep applied, obviously, since I'm ready to meet God, and there is no way to really prep for cancer.
I'll use the earthly stuff to get by the hard times and do what I can for my friends and loved ones.
Life could be much worse. The relationship with God is the most important prep, IMHO.

I agree. We have wild fires and tornadoes here in Oklahoma. I am a cancer survivor and I understand about making your peace with God. I hope we will have a lot of FReepers in Heaven. Maranatha.
Actually - a lot of the locals rounded up the jews and stole their property. Class enevy and division by politicians taken to its logical conclusion.
I've pretty much arrived at the conclusion that no place on earth is going to be safe. Only some, like D.C., will be a whole lot less safe than others.
Best to work things out so that one's domicile receives the passover mark from the Almighyt's Angels. Better still, a fully prepared soul.
Bless you for sharing!!
Great post as always Johnny!
You’re correct Johnny,
I had been prepping for a retirement exploring Arizona .
It seems with a World
spinning out of control and Our Nation leading the pack ,
our Only real salvation is The Savior .
My prayers are with you.
I’m glad you are at peace and are right with Him.
God Bless and Keep You, JR.
That’s the right direction. The end of this world will come for each of us. That’s the most important end that we have to prepare for.
You’ve got your priorities straight. You’ll be fine, whether it starts before you leave or not.
My wife was diagnosed with incurable cancer (multiple myeloma) almost 15 years ago. She was given a 50/50 shot at 3 months. She’s still here, still has cancer (always will), and is still being treated for it. God wasn’t ready to take her home yet, but He had plenty of things He wanted to teach us both that dealing with impending death helps clarify.
We expect a major break down, which will mean the end of her medical care. Without that she won’t last long. We’re prepping primarily to (hopefully) save our kids and grand kids. They simply cannot see it coming, but know where to go if it does.
Well said, Johnny. God Bless.
I agree with Johnny, being right with Him is #1 around here. You can have the food stored and house prepped for emergency. That is all prudent, like having oil in your lamps. Or enough ammo. Fact is, it’s a way of life around here and has been for about 30 years. That’s why I could never live in the city. Left Chicago over 40 years ago and never looked back.
