The Hillary Clinton email scandal is now heading into its third week. Hillary has obviously been up to no good throughout this scandal. She admittedly had 30,000 emails deleted without anyone having read them. When you consider that President Nixon was chased from office for 18 minutes of missing tape, you would think that deleting 30,000 emails might at least be viewed with extreme suspicion. Especially so when the former Secretary of State and presumed Presidential candidate wont let anyone near her email server. The question all along is who leaked the email scandal to the press. This is something Hillary has been able to keep under wraps for six years, why did it suddenly become public now?
Last week Valerie Jarrett appeared on Bloomberg claiming the White House has strict policies about emails remaining on the governments system. She then droned on about transparency within the administration, clearly insinuating that Hillary alone was responsible for a lack of transparency at the State Department. Jarretts interview was quite a good show considering that she and the White House are likely responsible for leaking the email scandal to the press. No one should be surprised, its no secret that the Clintons and Obamas hate each other. The Obama people view the Clintons as middle of the road progressives who will play ball with Republicans. Its always fun to watch the progressives turn on each other, its especially fun when the two biggest names in the Democrat Party are at war with each other. Its entirely possible that the stories being floated about Jarrett over the weekend are straight from the Clinton camp. If so, its another example of these two families being at war with each other.
The question is what is the Obama end game? Obviously we know the Clinton end game, Hillary gets elected President. However whats the Obama end game here? He cant possible want to destroy Hillary so that a Republican can get elected President. The only Republicans Obama could stomach either have no shot (Christie) or are part of a family that Obama hates as much as the Clinton family (Bush). Obama has thrown Hillary under the bus before, hes likely done it again this month. What doesnt make sense is the lack of a backup plan in the Democrat Party in the event of a Hillary implosion. One year from now the nomination will be wrapped up, who does Obama think is going to beat Hillary?
The obvious progressive choices are Joe Biden and Elizabeth Warren. Biden is a wildcard, someone who is wildly inappropriate in public with women. Like with Bill Clinton in the 90s, the feminists put up with it because Biden advances policies they agree with. Warren is a progressive star that the far left has been begging to run for the better part of two years. Maybe Obama can talk her into running. There is one name out there that no one is talking about who may appeal more to the Obama camp than Warren: New Jersey Senator Cory Booker. Booker is a leftist who can appeal to the same inner city black constituency that helped Obama win twice. The Obama team may view Booker as someone who can recreate the Obama magic of 2008, in which case they likely believe that someone like Warren wont appeal to inner city voters.
The White House must have an alternative to Hillary. If they dont, theyre all but ensuring a Republican victory in 2016. Based on what weve seen from Obama the last six years, theres no way theyre willing to cede control to the hated Republicans without having a viable Democrat alternative. By destroying Hillary, the White House is creating chaos in the Democrat Party. Progressives always have an end game when they create chaos, their theory for a century has been that the better organized side always comes out victorious when chaos strikes. Obama has someone in mind for 2016, someone who is probably already putting together a campaign team and will be ready to go at a moments notice. Make no mistake though, Obama doesnt sent Jarrett out to destroy someone like Hillary unless hes planned his end game. Hes too trained in the art of community organizing, so is Jarrett, to not have his end game mapped out. The question is what will the end game be and when will it become public.
Hillary was just Secretary of state for about 4 years and look at the damage she did. Libya, Egypt, Syria, Russia, ISIS, Stevens, Ukraine, etc.. And she even had the audacity to claim, we came, we saw, he died. That is not something an exceptional American should ever say. She has caused the world to view America negatively.
Bill Clinton was happy to do his part, then be put out to pasture, put out to stud???
I know what you mean metaphorically speaking. Some people might think of Bill Clinton and being out to stud in a more literal way, given his history...........
The Senate would have to confirm Jarrett as VP. That seems unlikely.
She's the change we really need now! Educated, experienced, and penis-free - hope for America!
Seems that Hillary is doing a fine job of destroying herself.
Remember: the enemy of my enemy can still be my enemy, too.
That said, I'd be more than happy to sit on the sidelines and watch a Dem civil war between the Obama and Clinton camps.
Warren or O’Malley. Webb is too far to the center, and Biden is too goofy, even for them.
All are wisely holding back, letting Clinton to implode on her own.
The email fiasco warns off her early big money sources.
Obama is not intentionally setting Clinton up to look like a moderate. The Obamas and Clintons hate each other, Obama will do nothing to help Hillary. At least not intentionally.
Make no mistake, I don’t feel bad for Hillary at all. She set herself up for this one. She had to know Obama would find out about her email account and use it against her when the time was right. Obama and his team have a long history of smearing their opponents in this manner, it’s how he got his start in politics. On one hand it had David Axelrod and Rahm Emanuel written all over it. On the other maybe Jarrett and her people have learned the Axlerod and Emanuel game.
The Obama Admin is not a willing participant, but Hillary will make the best of the situation.
Hillary created this email mess all by herself. To pretend somehow Valerie Jarrett invented it is nonsense.
Valerie Jarrett didn’t invent the scandal, she simply leaked it to the press. Let’s be honest, but for Jarrett none of us would know anything about Hillary’s email.
The press is in a tough spot. They love Obama and will bend over backwards for him. They like the Clintons, though I suspect not as much as Obama. After all, the press loves covering Clinton scandal stories and they can’t be bothered to cover any of Obama’s scandals. I don’t see them flocking to Hillary or trumping up her disagreements with the Obama administration. Time will tell though.
Actually both houses by a simple majority.
The facts are very straight forward:
** Hillary was one of numerous legal assistants (she was not yet a lawyer) who were hired on a temporary basis to handled the work load of the investigation.
** When the work was completed her contract ended (as did numerous others). The work was over, her employment was no longer required.
** Zeifman had major issues, and did write letters suggesting that she had ethical issues and was not suitable for future employment.
** Zeifman considered reporting her to the Bar, but ultimately did not.
Here is my issue: There are dozens of reasons to not like Hillary and I for one will celebrate when her career is ended in disgrace. But when we use statements which are not true to attack her, people will only see the false statement and not the truth on which the misinformation was based.
I’m just gonna go with the Demorats and say she was undocumented fired. :0)
Vote For Michelle... Baby Got Back!
imagine this woman....? as President???
She’s wrapped in an old dirty bedspread!
I didn’t realize both Houses voted on an appointed Vice President. If the House votes it’s all the less likely that Jarrett would be confirmed. She’s the sort of person that Boehner would be willing to take a stand against, if only to appease conservatives and keep his position.
I found out after this post that she hadn’t been fired but her boss said he would have fired her if he could have due to her unethical and lying conduct.
