I have picked cotton, cut, dried and hung tobacco, milked cows, raised chickens, and fed my family from the ground. I have helped build barns, silos, chicken coops and put in sprinkler systems. I have fixed cars, trucks, weed whackers and lawnmowers. I have gotten up early, did my chores, gone to school, then to work in a butcher shop, then to college and back home at night to do it again the next day. I have graduated college, joined the Army, served 2 enlistments of 7 years and was honorably discharged. I learned computers, got my industry certifications. I have traveled the world helping banks and financial institutions protect themselves from hackers and natural disasters. I and worked hard and built my life to where it is now. I am now 50 and make a six figure income.
And I am HIGHLY OFFENDED that a dope smoking privilege slacker is claiming or even inferring that he has done one damn days worth of work.
I do not need or want some unelected government bureaucrat telling me how to run my life when he cant even run his own.
This Obama can almost say things that are right and uplifting and patriotic, but he never gets there and turns everything in to a divisive leftist polemic.

His entire speech was a revolutionary call for minorities to take over America. The worst was he started with “We crossed the Rio Grande”. He is announcing a takeover by illegal Mexicans.

They walk across that bridge over and over again to run out a lay a claim to the glory days of Civil Rights. 50 years later, and where has any of it gotten us? Trayvon Martin? Michael Brown?
The truth that few want to acknowledge is that things have gone backwards since “Civil Rights”, and are getting worse. All we hear are excuses about why blacks haven’t improved themselves like we were told they would if they were treated equally.
All we are told is that, “we’ve come a long way, but have a long way to go.” In other words, they are going to continue taking what they want from us forever.

Those values were taught to me by my father and his uncles, farmers all. They have stood the test of time and the rise of new fads that have faded away. The older I get, the more I want to return to those simple roots. I may die an old country coot but I will die happy.
And the taxpayers are the slaves that pay for $1.5 billion budget that the White House spends every year.

What do you mean “we?” You went to a posh private school in HI, spent your formative years in Indonesia, went to the priciest Ivy League schools as a “foreign student” and because you filled a quota. There is nothing but privilege in your background.
(Note that Obama gives Blacks credit for building America, while telling Whites, “You didn’t build that!” But they really did build this country. His blatant racism is extremely offensive to the White majority.)
