The House on Tuesday admitted defeat after a month-long effort to defund President Barack Obamas executive action on immigration, and passed a Department of Homeland Security funding bill that leaves Obamas plan intact.
The vote came after dozens of House Republicans fought to the bitter end to reject the clean DHS bill, in an effort to oppose what they see as an unconstitutional action from Obama. The House passed the bill 257-167, and sending it to the White House for Obamas signature into law.
In the end, 167 Republicans voted against the Senates version of the bill. But because the bill was supported by every Democrat, only 30 or so Republicans had to support it to ensure its passage, and 75 GOP members voted for it.

No surprise that Fred “no light bulbs for YOU!” Upton is a ‘rat.
Then they voted correctly. Still want to see the actual vote tally. Has anyone posted the link here?
RAT & RINO coalition.””
Yep, that is the R&R coalition.
All the POS had to do was stick to his guns IN THE VERY BEGINNING. I have no doubt this was his plan from the very beginning.
I wish I had posted my thinking earlier. It was along the lines of “just watch, after Bibi gives his address there will be a push for a clean bill because we need DHS to be funded, look what we just heard about Iran.”
I loathe him as much as I do Reid and Pelosi. Even more so.
I sent Doug Collins an email saying I am going to do something which goes against everything I stand for. I will never again vote for a member of the GOP. I WILL VOTE DEM. If I cannot stand the dem candidate, I will not vote.
Collins cast his lot with Boehner when he voted for him as SOH.
I gave them a chance in November. They F’d us over royally.
2016 will not be kind to the GOPee.
Hurd. No different than Pete Gallego.

If we take the 23 rino votes away from the 167 and add them to the 75 that voted for the final motion—they could oust Boehner. Or do you think the democrats would vote to keep him? Probably would end up with polosi. Let her be responsible for the end game.
Brady (TX) did not vote on the motion to table, that’s the extra guy!
Someday I’ll declare myself an illegal so I can grab tons of free sh!t and rewards. No citizenship though because I refuse to pay taxes...
I know, I know, tempting...but just not right.
Unfortunately Boehner had enough votes to let some of his favorite RINOs vote for tabling.
But that vote is still more revealing than the final.
My email to Joyce follows:
“I KNOW WHAT YOU DID VOTING NOT TO TABLE AND THEN AGAINST THE BILL FOR THE DHS FUNDING. I WON’T FORGET AND I’LL CRAWL ON BROKEN GLASS TO SEE YOU PRIMARIED OUT, TRAITOR!”
My Congressman, sorry, my congressperson is Tom Reed—one of your bunch of 23 phonies. I will make sure he is never elected again. Might as well give it all to the democrats—but I will never again vote for a traitor.
My critter voted to bring it to the floor but voted against the bill. I’m sure all the details were arranged ahead of time so he could look like a stalwart.
