MITCH MCCONNELL CAVES The Senate GOP calls retreat on amnesty.
By Jeffrey Lord 2.26.15
You can almost see Ronald Reagan rolling his eyes and saying, There they go again. Republicans in the Senate are ready to cave. Yes, they promised something different when they were running a few months ago. If voters just put them in charge, boy would things be different! But hey: now theyre going to fund the Department of Homeland Security and pretend theyre actually living up to their campaign promises to oppose the president on amnesty. Call them the tacticals. Its all about the tactics, you see?
Over at Breitbart was this quoted from Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell:
My hope is that the Senate will act. I dont know what the House will do but I do think we have a responsibility to act here. We have a solution to the problem that deals with both things: number one giving senators an opportunity to express their disapproval of what the president did in November and some Democrats as you know have already announced they agree with me on that, McConnell said, adding that the second aspect, funding DHS with a clean bill, is exactly what Democrats have requested.
I dont know what not to like about this, he added.
Really? Well, theres at least one unnamed Republican senator who felt differently, the story goes on:
This is a total victory for the Obama position, said a GOP senator unhappy with McConnells plan. The House hasnt passed it yet, so they might could come up with something. But thats a grim prospect.
There were three other notable reactions that agreed with those of the unnamed senator. ...

Gee, what a surprise.
Teach them a lesson, remove them from power. Dont vote for them ever again. Let them fall. There is no difference between any of them. They are not in your corner and they do not care about you or your family. I am done...period. I will take my chances and wait for the Lord...
Yup.. I had little hope last go around that things would change. Now i have NO HOPE that things will change next time by electing republicans.
But, but..we voted for the lesser of two evils. Right.....right?
The stupid, corrupt Democrat Mitch McConnell wants the crazy right-wingers to have a vehicle to express their disapproval with the dismantling of the Constitution and the Republic itself.
But he wants to move this #1 Priority of the Democrat Part, as now constituted (Radical Communists), rather the representing his State and the Constitution.
I pray that I am his hangman.
He does the Chamber bidding and will sponsor a bill to flood US with H1Bs.
I despise that chinless wonder just as much as Dear Leader.
After Obama checkmated himself over amnesty....
the GOPe tipped the board over ....
Call them the tacticals. Its all about the tactics
They lost the battle....and the war...../unexpected sarcasm.
It seems Congress has actually more leftist with the GOPe in charge, at least they seemed to put a little bit of a fight occasionally as a minority
Sen. McConnell I don’t give a damn about Senators expressing their displeasure... I give a damn about stopping the tyrant dead in his tracks. Quit being a pompous ass. Fight!
This excoriation of McConnell spells his imminent demise.
I suspect Sessions, Cruz, Paul, Lee et al are seeing the writing on the wall and know McConnell's day are numbered.
Let us hope: Old is New Again.
Turtle said there would be no more shutdowns under his watch. If I was a Rat, I’d just wait him out.
Here is is, in his natural habitat.
So endeth act 209 of RINO Kabuki Theater. Act 210 will continue in a moment.
So very disappointing. The DC GOP is just so disappointing and refuses to do the right thing but chooses to kneel to the democrat communist party and to make them happy while they destroy the roots of freedom.
