Lived in SoCal for nearly 20 years, in a safer outlying area. I still didn’t go out by myself at night. Life is cheap in the Socialist State of California. I was acquaintanced with three people who were murdered........never in my upbringing did I think I would ever say something like that. I am still not over my wariness of strangers. Probably never will be.
This whole article is an outright lie. We have a Democrat President and California has a Democrat Governor. There are no homeless people in California.

One common thread among whites who live there - they have almost universally been propagandized into believing that safe, suburban areas are hotbeds of racism and intolerance, complete with "God Hates Fags" billboards, weekly cross-burnings on your lawn and front-yard shooting competitions that kill twenty or so innocent bystanders a week. They feel they are "so lucky" to live in an island of tolerance and diversity like Berkeley that they would never even consider leaving - and thus become easy prey for the homeless scammers and black thugs from Richmond that Berkeley attracts in droves.

Robin, if you lived in America, you could at least go out at night knowing that you had, cocked and loaded and securely in your pocket, the means to take out 2 or 3 of the crazies before they got to you. I will never willingly live in a place where the government insists that I be defenseless.
Well, there are a lot of places she could move but you just have to watch your back. There are a lot of homeless/vagrants here in Reno and you just have to know where to go and where not to go. In any case, Robin, you need to make the call and get the hell out of berzerklee.

Robin shouldn’t shop in areas where she doesn’t feel safe, especially if she has access to a car.
She could also easily sell her home in Berkeley to some liberal for a ton of cash and move to a more peaceful secure area.
I particularly like how an obviously a technically advanced woman is unable to use the cell phone she had to call 911.
We simply could not live like that. I have close relatives living in CA and will never go visit them for the reasons discussed in the article.
But by contrast those same CA relatives would never feel safe where we live. We live in a forest with wild animals, such as coyotes, skunks, occasional cougar and all sorts of creepy-crawlies out looking for lunch. The wife and I feel perfectly safe walking in the forest.
And my favorite lefty story: I had lunch with a young black girl from one of those large CA cities that felt unsafe up here because there were no sirens. I could not believe it, but she actually associated sirens with safety knowing that cops were just a short time away if she ever needed them.
In the 10 years we’ve lived here I’ve seen cops only twice and never heard a siren and just love it.
Risking her life for soap and hand lotion? That’s just nuts.
Look on the bright side. They weren’t Republicans trying to take your birth control.
Prayer helps me when I’m scared. I figure the baddies would have get through a part of heaven to touch me. I also know how to fight and carry most of the time. That helps, too.
I believe I read one of her columns where she said she is handicapped. She was wise to get an escort to her car. That was resourceful. As for all the dummies around her who deny the mess they have made there...that is how liberals are.
