AP A Super Bowl ad for Jeep Renegade SUVs met a heated backlash Sunday night as outraged Americans took to social media to blast the company for flashing scenes of the Great Wall of China and other far-flung places around the globe as This Land is Your Land played in the background. What kind of globalist bullshit is this? wrote one YouTube commenter. Who is in the advertising department? asked another YouTube commenter. Fire them. This is an American song. AMERICAN

I’m not knocking Jeeps, though I have no experience with the newer ones, I had an 85 Grand Wagoneer and loved it, like driving a tank.
MY thoughts exactly - and I worked for Chrysler up til just a few months, having started there out of college in ‘71 !
I’ll never touch another Jeep until the person whose idea this was is fired, and ideally, publicly flogged.
Simple question: Why do the commercials run during the biggest AMERICAN GAME and featuring an AMERICAN ICON need to be globalist? Why can’t we celebrate America?
My British husband enjoyed that ad. But I sat in disbelief. I said ‘that song is about America....why are they showing places all over the world”?? I think they are promoting the One World, Agenda 21. That’s all I could think about. No jeeps here....ever.
It spooked me. Can you imagine the nerve of these megalomaniacs claiming ownership of the whole globe in the name of the United States? Delusional.
“Rage Boy’’ as a kid? I’ll say one thing, that’s some pretty good dental hardware that little savage is sporting.
What’s even more amazing is that it’s a song written and played by a Leftie.
I'm sure the employees of the Toledo North Assembly Plant would strongly disagree with your statement......LOL!
So glad I did not subject myself to any of this junk yesterday.
Just a few years ago it was the Coke ad with the foreigners singing ‘God Bless America”. The public was very upset with that as well.
“Pretty much the SAME WORDS my husband said aloud.”
Your husband and I could be best friends. I shouted out those exact words halfway through this so-called commercial.
Starting with the transmission?
But played all the time back on Captain Kangaroo. Wonderful the socialist propaganda we were exposed to even back in the late 60’s, isn't it?
Woody Guthrie was a communist.
9600 miles, front suspension started acting up, getting loud, service dept at the dealer found nothing. 26,000 miles replaced front struts. 49k, replaced tie rods; 58k replaced right ball joint control arm; 60k, replaced LEFT ball joint control arm, and front struts AGAIN; Total repair cost while I owned the car = $4400. This was a COMPASS. I drove it back and forth to work. No off-road stuff. POS.
