They are also taught, whether they realize it or not, that unless the man fulfills every want/need [esp. emotional] that they aren't good
— there was one lady at my church who, relating a story about spiritual growth, told about how God was working on her in relation to her husband and there was a breakthrough moment when she realized that she had been resenting the husband for not meeting her every emotional need/want and God brought it to her realization that He had provided the friends/emotional-support she needed and that her husband (a) loved her, and (b) was doing the best as he could.
This kind of also fits into the societal ideology where masculine traits
are dismissed as useless — a good example here would be logic in the legal-system. (Look at how soundly rejected an argument based on the Constitution is; even among conservatives
, just lay out that the Constitution needed amending to allow the federal government the power to do prohibition, but no such amendment exists for the War on Drugs and watch the emotional knee-jerk response.)
I can only imagine how much worse it is for women who are steeped and marinated
in feminist ideology.
