I am a 1960s feminist, we only wanted equality in the work place and in salaries... never wanted superiority. Liberals always hijack good ideas and turn them ugly and dark!
95% of them work in the public sector. They cop the attitude, "I don't need a man." And that attitude is definitely apparent at work.
When I was in college 1969-1973 we women were encouraged to be teachers, nurses, secretaries. Men students were encouraged to be engineers, doctors, lawyers, CEOs. Yet we were getting the same education. Happy to say things have changed at universities. No one ever encouraged me to go into anything other than education. Now the sky is the limit for college women.
divorce is not at 50%. It is a skewed statistic including those who remarry and divorce many times.

One other thing about the divorce rate going down, less people are getting married.
My husband will sometimes help with folding socks, I don’t know why but that is my least favorite chore.
He once finished mowing the yard for me, I was sick and just couldn’t do it—I was very frustrated about it.
I LOVE doing yard work, I can’t wait for this winter to be over so that I can start mowing again!
I find mowing to be very satisfying.
I suppose he could cook if he wanted to but I don’t think he wants to and I don’t care. It works for us.
I wonder if these are the same kind of man hating liberal women I saw in California. They were teachers and they were friends with my old friend from college. They seemed to be angry and unhappy all the time and just miserable! I did not want to be around them and wish I could get my friend away from that NEGATIVE group of nags....
I don't know about you, C.E., but I saw three pretty good commercials in the Super Bowl which celebrated good, old-fashioned, honest fatherhood. I felt grateful.
There's a problem with that, most notably that I shouldn't have to feel grateful, but there you have it. Maybe someone has finally seen that men are tired of being seen as do-nothing incompetents on television.
Yes Colonel, that was the Toyota spot. It was awesome, but it’s the exception that proves the rule.......
Yes....what you said...’Feminism’ degrades men and then women wonder why they cant find a good man...(if they want one...they are taught to not want/need a man too)
It’s become accepted behavior for women to hold up their husbands as objects of ridicule. I don’t do it, and I won’t listen to other women do it.
I don’t work outside the home any longer. In view of that, I’m not going to ask my husband to unload the dishwasher or vacuum the floor, just as he isn’t going to invite me to go help him do his job. We have our roles, and they’re complimentary.
Am I going to throw a fit if he leaves socks on the floor? Well, he actually tends to put his clothes in the hamper where they belong, but if he fails to do so, or if he leaves the toilet seat up, etc., so what? I’m not going to jump all over him. He works HARD to support us, and he treats me pretty much like a queen. I’m blessed to have him and I want him to know it.
As for men who allow women to belittle them, whether publicly or privately-—STOP DOING THAT. Grow a spine and show them you’re not going to tolerate it any longer, or it will never stop.
I've never expected that of my husband. He would enjoy it about as much as I'd enjoy following him around looking at electronics or car parts, so I don't see the point.
I thought I saw more than one. Perhaps feverish. It’s been known to happen :)
I am really, really glad you're not my mother-in-law.
We LOVE LAST MAN STANDING!!! Yes...Tim Allen acts like a Man and its refreshing...in a houseful of women no less
I told her I would never hold her against her will, but I did advise her I'd get half of her pension in any divorce settlement, just like she'd get half of mine. We've been on much better terms since then...lol.
Which is sad because I pray diligently for a nice, manly man
With a little experience, talking to friends and some research, I have found that women who have been raised in a female dominant family are the worst offenders of disrespect to their husbands. As an example, my sons mother-in-law was the oldest of three sisters, she then became the mother of three daughters, one being my DIL. The drama and insanity in this family is unbelievable.
The point is, the vast majority of white dudes in commercials are dolts, period.
Disney understood that moms have much more control over what young kids see on TV and in the movies than dads do.
Nail head, meet hammer.
