When Michael Moore and Seth Rogen decided to hit social media with their flippant remarks about “American Sniper,” the outrage was quick and thick. Moore said snipers were cowards, and Rogen compared the film to Nazi propaganda. Of course, both decided to dial back their 140 character commentaries by claiming that they weren’t really directed at the movie (or weren’t really saying that the movie was bad). But these comments were made over the weekend, before the box office take for the movie’s premiere weekend had been tabulated, or all the people who intended to watch the film managed to get to a theater.

The left is unwilling to distinguish intent or morality. To them, abortion is the same as removing a wart - excising unwanted tissue. To them, a military sniper killing a terrorist is the same as a communist assassin killing a legitimate president - shooting a living person. They choose not to see that a baby is more than a wart or a mole to be removed when unwanted, and they choose not to see that a terrorist is different from an innocent person (I was going to say a terrorist is different from the person in the White House, but that’s no longer true). Liberals should be ashamed of themselves, but they are to ignorant to understand why.
Actually these morons are creating even more buzz for the movie. The more they shoot their fat mouths off, the more people will go see the flick. Instant Karma bi%chez!!!
I tried to see it tonight at a theater in Tavernier, FL. Had to get a rain check as it was sold out. Only crickets in the one showing Selma. Too bad, so sad.

I’m getting tired of this whole argument. One side wants to say that all snipers are heroes, and the other that they’re all psychopathic murderers.
You’d think any reasonable person would be able to recognize that down thru history there have undoubtedly been snipers who fell into each group, and probably more than a few who were just trying to do a difficult job.
BTW, at the time of the Revolution, snipers were considered murderers by most armies because they took aim at particular individuals instead of firing in the general direction of the enemy.

This is an illustration of the accuracy of the guy who made several of the most successful Hollywood propaganda films ever. Jesse James was shot at close range in the back of the head with a pistol while he was putting up a picture. This type of shooting by anyone who knows the definition to be a sniping.
The problem is that Mr. Moore is such a large target that any self respecting “sniper” would not consider it a technical challenge to target him from less than a mile away. This would almost certainly require the use of a 50 caliber sniper rifle. The last time I checked... the cost of a 50 caliber rifle cartridge was over $6. A cartridge suitable for this type of business would cost even more. Michael Moore isn't worth even a tenth of this.

I was watching a thing on Dr. King last night. It showed a march in Chicago. King said of all the marches in Mississippi and Alabama none were as hostile as the one in Chicago. The left is mean and viscious.
Absolutely true. King and his followers really had no idea what they were getting into with the urban (and heavily politicized) industrial Northern ghettos. It was a completely different environment, and on a scale beyond anything they had ever seen.
Ironically, one of the people that predicted King’s efforts would fail for that very reason was Saul Alinsky.
