I'd like to thank the TSA for protecting our country by stealing my daughters makeup remover, hair products, and throwing all of her packed clothes back into her suitcase like a retarded monkey would. She is 17 and asked why they did that. She stopped herself and said "never mind , it's government people doing their stupid crap .".
I was so proud of her and really want to thank the TSA thief by helping her see the true face of government employees.
We stopped flying until this hassle, theft, and groping mess is eliminated. If ever.
Checked bag with a TSA tag stating they had searched her bag
Retarded monkeys, ramp rats. I know one of those retarded monkeys; she graduated with degree in criminal justice with distinction, magna cum laude, member of Phi Beta Kappa. This young lady grew up on a military base overseas and has traveled the world, can get by speaking English, Arabic, Japanese and Korean. The daughter of a retired Navy Master Chief and the niece of two retired military uncles. She watched 9/11 happen late one night in her living room in Japan, thought she would like to work in a job that could made a difference. My daughter now spends her days dealing with obviously illiterate, demonstrably ignorant and certainly abusive passengers; much like most of the commenters to this post.
Some people have had to resort to using FedEx overnight shipping to just ship their stuff to their destination because too many valuable items were being stolen at the airport by employees.
Dead on correct!
Were the products over the three ounce limit? I don’t like going through the checkpoints anymore than anyone else and have been pulled out for extended pat downs at Philly just about every time I go through, but the rules are pretty plain.
What else would you expect in the United States of Diversity, now officially a 3rd world country?
Future police state???? You don't like the one you have now?
If that had happened to my daughter when she was 17 she would have done her best to beat the crap out of him/her.
Yes, by way of standards designed by APES that set our nation behind the worst that the third worlds airlines run by.
And clothing must be in a messy wad for security purposes. She should have known that.
I have flown to Viet Nammany times. I have never had trouble with my luggage on non-American airlines. It is always where it is supposed to be when it is supposed to be there in shipshape condition. On UAL twice my luggage was sent to Chicago and disposed of instead of to Sai Gon. On Delta my luggage was late and obviously rifled though nothing was missing. It is not just ramp rats.
I lost my passport in the Tallahassee airport several years ago when TSA required me to put it in the tray on the conveyer belt. It went out of sight behind the machine while I was being frisked and and the only person back there was another TSA. It was not in the tray when I picked stuff up. The passport holder was there but it was open and the document gone. When I mentioned it I was threatened with arrest. I went to a local airport police officer about it and he said there was nothing the locals could do- the feds could do anything they want. My trip was delayed for a week while I replaced the passport and, of course, the cost went up a lot.
If I have to fly with certain valuables, I will go the Fedex or UPS route and ship ahead.
Unless I absolutely have to, I will not fly commercial.
After my experiences with UAL I simply ceased carrying any real carry-on luggage. Now I carry a Goodwill bag for checking with throw-away rags and old magazines and such in it so that I won't be IDed as a terrorist because I don't have a check bag. I don't even bother to pick it up at the other end.
Your daughter has some serious problems with career choices.
Not all government employees are like that. The condemnation should be only for the guilty ones.
The problem is that there is no recourse. The flying public is compelled to shut up and act like sheep. Stepping out of line gets you harassed or jailed.
No most where the people in the orange jump suits picking up trash along the roadways.
Drive to Canada, get on Air France or Air Canada and see my kids in France. Return same way so American carriers get none of my money.
