For 100 years, the federal government has usurped powers not delegated to it in our Constitution.
What should we do about it? Should we reclaim our existing Constitution and put an end to the usurpations?
Or should we modernize the Constitution by changing it so as to delegate to the federal government the powers it has usurped so as to legalize what is now unconstitutional?
Mark Levin begins The Liberty Amendments by saying he doesnt believe the Constitution requires modernization through amendments. But he then proposes a series of amendments, six of which modernize our Constitution to delegate to the federal government most of the powers it has usurped during the last 100 years.

what is your solution?
check landmark legal foundation's accomplishments - then list yours
FYI you can ask 3 different questions in one post. Its not necessary to make an individual post for every question/attack. LOL!
Go read the 10th Amendment which is and always has been my solution. And just for the record I have a 4 year degree in Political Science so I do understand the Constitution and how it works.
Mark Levin thinks he has a good solution and he’s trying to sell books. so there you have it. I and many many people disagree with him.
so how is your ‘solution’ going?
has georgia stopped sending in their gasoline tax?
and i know 3 posts confused you - but feel free to address all 3
just proves you can't back up your point
and i defy you to find ANY other author that pushes the sales of his book LESS than levin
even so - i suppose you would never promote the product of your labor - capitalism must be evil
Just because Levin got a bright idea and wrote a book does not mean you have to turn into a Lemming and follow him over the cliff. Sometimes Levin is right and sometimes not. This Article V thing will go nowhere. But it sounds good.
.
LOL! Wake me up when the Article V convention fixes everything. Oh wait wake me up if it even happens.
Why do you oppose the right of a people to frame their government?
I wrote of repeal of the 17th at FR months before Levin published his book.
<>I do understand the Constitution and how it works.<>
So explain Article V. Tell us its history and why it is in the constitution in the first place.
It is trash history.
I would enjoy a live debate with him/her.
> “Mark Levin thinks he has a good solution and hes trying to sell books. so there you have it.”
Are you for real?
Mark Levin has said time and time again that his proposed amendments are just suggestions. He’s not trying to push his amendments. He’s trying to educate state legislators about the power they hold and how the process works.
As far as Mark doing this only for financial gain? Bunk! Mark appears, travels to, writes for the COS Project as an unpaid board member.
Do yourself a favor and watch the following video of Mark Levin before State Legislators so that you don’t fall into these traps of cynicism and paranoia:

Do you have a clue as to the chances of repealing the 17th Amendment? Zero, nada, not gonna happen. The Pollyanna approach is not going to work. If the GOP majority which just got elected does not start the job of cutting back govt which I seriously doubt they will do we are headed for CWII.
The chances of CWII are much more likely than some pie in the sky Article V convention. It will trigger a lot of states asserting their 10th amendment rights. I have more faith in the individual states than some Article V convention which will not happen and even if it did they would never get ratification of the proposed ammendments.
Guys like Mark Levin and Glenn Beck are so scared of outright confrontation they resort to these arcane theories for comfort and they stay in denial that we may very well have to actually take back the Constitutional Republic.
God’s word tells us what is going to happen, and nowhere does it say that anything is going to get straightened out, and Earth trucks on forever.
The only way to get the Federal boot of off your neck is through state(s) secession. Everything else is BS.
Were The Federalist Papers part of the curriculum?
If so, you must be familiar with the last one, #85. Alexander Hamilton handily dealt with Article V.

Is anyone that brags, here of all places, that they have a degree in Poly Sci, for real?
