“Someone needs to tell me why Michael Brown has been chosen as the face of black oppression,” Scarborough said, arguing the left’s martyrdom of Brown mirrored the right’s lionization of George Zimmerman.
“There are so many great people to embrace as heroes in the black community, that deciding you’re going to embrace a guy who knocked over a convenience store and then according to a Grand Jury testimony acted in ways that would get my children shot? …That’s your hero? That’s the reason you want to burn down black businesses?…Really? This is your mission in life?”
“It’s not a black-white situation,” Donny Deutsch added for reasons that entirely pass understanding. “It’s a thug-police officer situation …This is not doing the black community any favors.”

People aren’t getting that there are two completely different stories about the Brown-wilson incident.
There’s the Grand Jury story, with its attendant evidence.
And there’s the black story, a fable in which Michael Brown is shot down in the street because he’s black.
Think of it like ZeroHedge for black people.

I never “lionized” Zimmerman. I just thought he was innocent of the charges and was being railroaded.
The right lionized Zimmerman when they asked that he not be killed as punishment for stopping an attempt on his life by a thug.

I USED TO think they had the worst on-air chemistry, and he hated her guts...
NOW I think they are secretly ‘doing it’ and Joe is deathly afraid to even look in her direction on-air, lest he give it away (isn’t he married?), and she is to ignorant to not let it show with her body language - she is always looking at him and touching him and there are some suggestive publicity photos with her showing her legs in front of him...
I thought he was ignoring her because he didn’t like to have her on the air- but them someone told me he went out of his way to get her hired for the spot
The reason, Joe , is because the thug was black. White or black or brown people killed by black people mean nothing. Black people killed by white people rival Madison and Jefferson for hero status.

I think we need some police reform on a professional level and in a way that will protect cops, rather than endanger them as proposed by the Left.
I think States should pass laws for independent review of police shootings. It is insanely unprofessional for police departments to investigate police departments in shootings.
I am 100% pro cop. Good cops far outweigh bad cops and we owe good cops the highest gratitude and respect. Bad cops endanger good cops as we can see with the race-baiting mobs making up demands in Ferguson. Shooting pets is really getting the public worked up...sadly, even more than the unjust shootings of human beings.
American policing, which respects human life and our constitutional rights, must return w/o tipping over into endangering police officers who risk their precious lives every day to protect us. The standards of high character (from a Western cultural point of view) must be high when hiring and promoting cops.
I like the idea of police officers wearing cams, outside review of police violence and reform of forfeiture laws. The money should NOT go to police activity because there is a conflict of interest from politicians and police chiefs. Maybe the money should go into a State rainy day fund and it should also be reviewed by an outside committee.

I don’t know anyone who lionized George Zimmerman. It was just a case of a situation getting out of hand and escalated as it turned out by Trayvon. Self defense doesn’t end where an unarmed thug that is beating your head into the cement sidewalk begins.
