Oliver Friedfeld and his roommate were mugged last weekend. They were forced to the ground and their valuables were taken from them. In response, Friedfeld has blamed himself because he is a member of the middle class.
Writing in Georgetown University's The Hoya, Friedfeld penned an article detailing the robbery called I was Mugged, And I Understand Why. In it, he attributed his mugging to being a member of the middle class, instead of to the people who mugged him.
...And the fact that he comes from a solidly middle-class family means that Friedfeld should be a target of muggings, according to him. He then wonders aloud, Who am I to stand from my perch of privilege... to condemn these young men as 'thugs?'
In fact, the middle class is to blame for crimes of this nature, he writes: If we ever want opportunistic crime to end, we should look at ourselves first... When we play along with a system that fuels this kind of desperation, we cant be surprised when were touched by it.
Friedfeld concludes that members of the middle class simply need to get over their fear of being mugged because we have it good. We should get comfortable with sporadic muggings and break-ins. I can hardly blame them. The cards are all in our hands, and were not playing them.

When a person becomes too civilized to do what’s necessary to survive in an uncivilized world, they won’t survive, and they don’t deserve to survive.
what an imbecile.
Sure hope his degree was worth the cost when he’s working the drive thru window.
Just as I thought. Liberals really want the ‘oppressed’ underclass to waltz right in and take whatever they want from their ‘oppressors.’
That’s why they disarm normal people and deliberately leave guns in the hands of criminals.
Sick little vicious twistes fool who wants to join in the murdering. Typical communist swine deserving to be thrown in the fire pit. There is no turning back with people like these.
Interviewer Stig, I’ve been told Dinsdale Piranha nailed your head to the floor.
Stig No, no. Never, never. He was a smashing bloke. He used to give his mother flowers and that. He was like a brother to me.
Interviewer But the police have film of Dinsdale actually nailing your head to the floor.
Stig Oh yeah, well - he did that, yeah.
Interviewer Why?
Stig Well he had to, didn’t he? I mean, be fair, there was nothing else he could do. I mean, I had transgressed the unwritten law.
Interviewer What had you done?
Stig Er... Well he never told me that. But he gave me his word that it was the case, and that’s good enough for me with old Dinsy. I mean, he didn’t want to nail my head to the floor. I had to insist. He wanted to let me off. There’s nothing Dinsdale wouldn’t do for you.
Interviewer And you don’t bear him any grudge?
Stig A grudge! Old Dinsy? He was a real darling.
Interviewer I understand he also nailed your wife’s head to a coffee table. Isn’t that right Mrs O’ Tracey?
Camera pans to show woman with coffee table nailed to head.
Mrs O’ Tracey Oh, no. No. No.
Stig Yeah, well, he did do that. Yeah, yeah. He was a cruel man, but fair
I like the way you think.
A lot of us middle folks carry.
At least that way he could serve some purpose in life.
I’d bet a cybercookie he was ‘mugged’ by black thugs. Hence this white-guilt grovelfest. Were he mugged by white boys, he’d be screaming for thug control.
Oliver Friedfeld...is a pussy.
I hope the mugger called him a punk ass...cause he is.
“I have fantasies where someone tries to mug me.”
I consider myself more situationally aware than the average guy. The two times I was attacked by blacks while in High School, the first I knew about it was when I woke up. They come running at you from behind and hit you in the head with a weapon. If you’re mugged, you most likely will not have a chance to draw that concealed weapon.
Well, they’re only criminals because of your privilege and your YT definition of “crime”.
He needs to quit Georgetwon. He doesn’t deserve it.
I wonder if Mr. Friedfeld is the guy who posed for that Pajama Boy photo.
He appears to fit the bill.
You’re a genius Paulie. See #39
