What to do with a President who toils against the will of the American people?
Approval ratings of Barack Obama's handling of immigration reached a low not long ago, reaching a 65% disapproval. Americans overwhelmingly oppose Obama's current threats of unilateral action on immigration and overwhelmingly prefer that Obama work with Congress.
The GOP is now poised to control both the House and the Senate come January, so why not wait a few months to try to work with the new Congress?
I think it's because he has no interest in cooperation. I think he wants to be impeached and there are two primary reasons. One, he doesn't give a rip what anyone other than Valerie Jarrett thinks and two, any impeachment effort will be immediately characterized as a lynching- a lynching of the first black President.
For his entire career Obama has been described as a "loner" and "aloof." despite his numerous policy failures he really does think he is the smartest man in the world. The only person to whom he listens is Valerie Jarrett, the Iranian slumlord.
The problem is, the truth is always the opposite of what he says. About the only honest thing Obama has ever said was his desire to fundamentally transform this country. As far as I am concerned he cemented it later by trying to walk it back. It is no different with immigration. He once said that he couldn't bypass Congress:
“And so what we need to do going forward is to address some of the broader problems in our immigration system. And that means changing minds and changing votes, one at a time. I know there are some folks who wish I could just bypass Congress. I can’t. But what I can do is sign a law. What you can do is champion a law. What we can do together is make comprehensive immigration reform the law of the land.”

Line by line is OK but Congress has the constitutional authority to rescind executive orders one by one so long as they are not derivative of Constitutional authority. Amnesty is not.

roger that. The day we have a 2/3rds majority in the Senate is the day we need to pursue that. Any attempt before that would just go down in flames and right would be painted as the bad guys.

They need to make the point that, all other things being equal, Obama should be impeached,
but they aren’t going to pursue it because of his skin tone.
He has that martyr complex all ‘victimhood’ types have.
The only congressmen and senators that might be willing to push for impeachment are in the south. They are begging for a south politician to try and impeach a black president.
b) Things can get much, much, MUCH worse. And they will.
c) The Left has the patience to wait out this "Republican wave". It will morally compromise those it can, defeat those it can, and sick the media on the rest. The Left now has complete control of the national government, regardless of who wins any election. Including their own candidates.

Isn't that what they said about the govt shutdown over Obamacare a mere year before the mid-term triumph?
The fact that the GOP allows this meme to remain unchallenged shows that they too are our enemies.

This is why you do not impeach him. It gives the MSM two free years of running negative stories on the GOP. Obstructionism, racism, it has everything that a media outlet could possibly want.
The way to hurt Obama is put him and the entire rat party in a box. Simplicity. One bill at a time, very short. Maybe 3-4 pages tops. This way the media cannot get away with saying republicans posed nothing and with the lack of complexity, bloggers can post them anywhere where readers only need 5 minutes of 3rd grade English skills to understand.
That’s how you do it.
If he is impeached the Democrats will be able to use their racist meme for eternity.
But we need not cooperate with him on anything. The voters have made that clear.
IF Obama is Impeached AND Tossed out of Office—Biden will pardon him—and then President Hillary will pardon Biden. It is a plan to keep covering up all the criminal things, I believe they have done over the years.
Has anyone asked him?
Has anyone told them that? It seems to me their faces should be rubbed in their corruption.
He wants them to try defunding—He will shut down the Government and the MSM will blame the GOP—Ted Cruz and the Tea Party—They did it! The Party of NO did it. Thedy have won on this in the past.
