VETERAN FREEPER BUT BEEN OUT OF TOUCH LATELY ... WOULD LOVE TO GET FREEPER FEEDBACK IF MY THEORY ON THIS VIDEO MAKES SENSE ...
Plenty of you have heard about or watched that bizarre breakfast brawl at the McDonald's in the City of Brotherly Love.
Let's keep it real. Blacks Behaving Badly videos do really well on youtube and people make money off them. Black people watch them on World Star Hip-Hop and are like "dammmmmnnnn, girlfriend, you see this s--t?" ...

Really? The McDonald’s servers handled the others behind you before you? Not sure I’d want to eat the food in that situation!
It has nothing to do with McDonald’s other than the fact that they stay open late at night and provide a place for people to meet, grab a bite to eat and interact.
My little “suburb” does not have a McDonald’s just a Hardee’s. Things are always peaceful there.
The difference is the “meet, eat & greet” takes place in the mornings. The first shift are construction workers and tradesmen, mostly White/Redneck with a few Hispanics and Blacks, on their way to work.
The second shift is, again, mostly White with a few Blacks, but this time they are retirees and stay much longer to “visit”. Both groups are always completely peaceful.
Time of day & demographics are the determining factors, not the fact that it is a fast food restaurant of any particular brand.
BTW, in other recent news from Philadelphia...
That seems to make sense.
This one of course is a pretty isolated incident. Not like it happens every day, or every week.
Retirees staying for hours is actually a problem for McDonald’s in a lot of area, across many demographics.
What part of the country are you in, if you don’t mind my asking?
We weren’t sure what to do.
If that were to happen today, given all the video cameras on phones, it could be a potential lawsuit, one would think.
And of course imagine if the races were reversed in your 1982 South Carolina situation. Then, now, whenever. Could you imagine the national attention that would receive?!?!?
Re. “We werent sure what to do.” ... What did you end up doing?
We are from southern Indiana with not many minorities, so we didn’t want to make a scene.
Oh, so not like you would be at that particular one again anyhow. Easy enough to get food from somewhere else.
anyone want to cut to the chase for me and tell us why mcdonalds would do that?
“What did you end up doing?”
We quietly ate our food and left. I had the wife and three small kids and were greatly outnumbered. We just stopped in the wrong place. I was 25 years old or so and naive.
Umm, there is definitely no white guilt in the guy presenting the video. I am 100% certain of that one. Not that it matters if you watch.
That would be the correct answer.
You are familiar with The Derbyshire Rules, I assume?
“You are familiar with The Derbyshire Rules, I assume?”
No, but I’m going to look it up.
Whammy Burger sales soared after this exposure. :)
Whammy Burger is from “Falling Down”? Been a while, what is that scene again?
Here you go, caver ... became a classic rather instantly:
