Traumatic. Prayers for your daughter. That was a horrible experience. I pray she recovers fully from the experience.

Luckily for it (and the bitch walking it), I lost track of it and ran out of wind.
Pomeranians are probably the only small dog I instinctively like, they are so smart and personable even to strangers.

I can’t even imagine what it would feel like to see a beloved pet attacked in such a brutal way! I’ll be praying for comfort, strength and peace for this young lady.

My goodness, your daughter was very brave taking on the Husky to try to save her precious little dog. I’m so sorry for her loss.
Sorry to hear about your daughter and her poor dog. I hope your daughter has seen medical staff for her injuries, and that she is able to pursue action against the owners of the husky.

You’ve gotten plenty advice already, so I will simply commiserate. Poms really are little lions. I grew up with one as my ‘little brother.’ I couldn’t imagine that happening to my Benji.
He actually charged a free-roaming German shepherd that was trotting up the neighbor’s driveway, minding its own business. Before any of us could react, Benji’s barking charge took him under that dog. Luckily for us all, the shepherd had a sense of humor. He batted our Pom onto his back to demonstrate his power, them let him up. Benji came just as fast as he went, tail between his legs.
Poor Sushi never even got a chance to accept or turn down a fight. So sorry. (I get a chuckle out of that name. Cute.)
Prayers up. That’s an awful thing to witness; over the years I had to watch as cars mowed down two of my cats who were running to greet me on my return home from work. I pray God grants her strength and peace of mind, and may her pup RIP.
Terrible to lose a beloved pet like that. She has all my prayers for such loss will be hard to forget.
Another warning to all, we lost last week our precious Bernese to mushroom poisoning. Be careful and watchful, we didn’t know and now we mourn her loss. We didn’t know that about 1% of mushrooms are poisonous, we never saw her eat one but from evidence found and her symptoms, we are now certain. Go to the NAMA website and learn, it’s too late for our Holly. Accidents like these are hard to take.
Prayers up...losing a pet is hard, but this? Orders of magnitude harder...
