With news of Ebola, ISIS, and a plunging stock market hitting the airwaves in recent months, the obvious has become clear to me:
The Republicans are going to win, and they are going to win big.
Democrats, resting upon the laurels of their 2012 victories -largely fuelled by young women who care more about sex and contraception
than they do about anything else- have shown sheer incompetence in their handling of these crises, and the American public is smelling the proverbial rat in the basement.Accordingly, Democratic numbers have tanked in recent weeks...
Obama's obsessive non-stop fund raising among the smug/stupid Democrat elite is beginning to look sinister. Even the name of his new Ebola czar--Ron Klain-- mysteriously disappeared from the web site of Democrats' shady mega-funder "The Democracy Alliance".
Could this be a WH/Democrat Ponzi scheme in progress?
While they bash Wall Street publicly, leaders of the Democrats' mega-funder "The Democracy Alliance" have quietly recruited venture capitalists, bankers and hedge fund moguls -- along with union bosses and red-diaper trust fund babies -- to fund their takeover goals. ....$230,000 public school union dues go to the Democrats' "Democracy Alliance."
"The Democracy Alliance" does not itself raise and spend a great deal of money. Rather, being a partner in the Alliance requires one to contribute large amounts to other left-wing groups. The Alliance evaluates left-wing organizations on various criteria, and makes recommendations to its members as to where they should put their money. Currently, the Alliance lists 21 groups in its Aligned Network:
<><> America Votes, American Constitution Society, Black Civic Engagement Fund, Brennan Center, Catalyst, Center for American Progress, Center for Community Change, Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, Common Purpose Project, Fund for the Republic, Latino Engagement Fund, Media Matters for America, New Media Ventures, New Organizing Institute, Organizing For Action, Progressive Majority, Progress Now, State Engagement Initiative, State Voices, Womens Equality Center and Youth Engagement Fund.<><>
The most interesting of the D/A documents that have come to light is the one that contains D/As investment recommendations for 2014. Not only does it list the recommended organizations, but it rates each organization in several categories, sets out the groups budget for 2014, and shows how much of that budget should be contributed by the 100 members of the "Democracy Alliance." One category in which DA rates the organizations is Collaboration, as DA believes that all left-wing groups should coordinate their activities for maximum political impact.
Opportunistic pols like Harry Reid have denounced Charles and David Koch, and others, who contribute to conservative causes as shadowy, secretive people who dare infest politics with dark money.
In that context, it is worth noting that most of the groups to which the Alliance and its elite liberal members contribute are 501(c)(4)s that do not disclose their donors.

ANALYSIS Buncha sap-happy Dummy/dopes are feeding the Democrats' Democracy Alliance lotsa money---thinking its safe.....going to a "good thing."
That's exactly how Madoff operated. Money-laundering, tax evasion was part of the Madoff mix---helping investors, foundations, and tax-exempts break the law in a seemingly legal way.
Madoff helped himself to the untraceable money in the process.....and got himself in trouble. When he went to jail for 125 years, investigators found Ponzi King Madoff had stashed billions offshore---into a labyrinth of financial entities.
COLLUSION AND CONSPIRACIES GALORE Some $8.9 billion was funneled to Madoff through a dozen so-called feeder funds based in Europe, the Caribbean and Central America......a labyrinth of hedge funds, management companies and service providers that, to unsuspecting outsiders, seemed to compose a formidable system of checks and balances.
But the purpose of this complex financial architecture was just the opposite: the feeder funds provided different modes for directing money to Madoff in order to avoid scrutiny.
Dummycrats apparently took notes.

Harry Reid is forever denouncing the Koch brothers, and others who contribute to conservative causes, labeling them as shadowy, secretive people who infest politics with dark money. ........but Harry has no problem with the Democracy Alliance's arch-secrecy since they are his Dummycrat comrades.
Keep in mind ......most of the groups to which the lib-loving Democracy Alliance and its elite liberal members contribute are 501(c)(4)s that do not disclose their donors. In fact, this is addressed in a FAQ in one of the D/A documents....which was not intended for the eyes of the conservative riff-raff.

THE SEC WOULD BE INTERESTED IN THE DEMOCRACY ALLIANCE'S investment recommendations and the legalistic language it uses: (1) to list the recommended organizations, (2) to rate each organization in several categories, (3) to set out the groups budget for 2014, and, (4) to show how much of that budget should be contributed by the 100 members of the "Democracy Alliance." One category labeled Collaboration, suggests left-wing groups should "coordinate" their activities for maximum political impact.
OMG! Give them another chance!! We have NO chance if the Democrats control everything!!
Until the votes are counted, consider EVERY prediction like this propaganda to keep our marginal voters home.
VOTE LIKE WE ARE 20 POINTS BEHIND.
Won’t start celebrating until it’s a done deal.
If anyone can snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, it’s the Republicans.
He won’t need to because he has a pen and a phone. It doesn’t matter who wins the Senate unless they impeach him.
The D adds I see coming out of Chicago are all targeted to the kooks, but remarkably they are not racist since they must think there are not enough black voters to make a difference in the races being contested. I can only imagine the kook adds that target blacks, maybe they do on their racial media but on broadcast TV the adds are aimed at the KosKid type
Oh please.
Actually, here in OH the GOP is very focused on getting out absentee votes precisely because they found that in mid terms too many find excuses not to vote.
50 House seat gain ? Give me a break. Where are these wins going to occur ? The GOP has maxed out in a number of states (AL, AR, ID, IN, KS, LA, MS, MO, NE, OK, SC, TN). If the GOP gains 10-15, that will be spectacular.
I left out Ohio in my estimation, as it also has effectively maxed out on the number of seats the GOP can win. None of the 4 remaining Dem seats (2 White, 2 Black) have much if any hope of being taken. It’s too bad Sherrod Brown wasn’t up this year, as Josh Mandel could’ve pulled it off. That’s the only federal office left to take.
Not quite. The KOS guy doesn't have Cam Cavasso(HI), Brian Herr(MA), and Mark Zaccaria(RI) winning Senate races. Quite unbelievably though he has Kevin Wade(DE), Jim Oberweis(IL) and all the other longshots winning to give us a gain of 18 of out 21 rat seats! He also has us failing to win the Governorships of California and Vermont.
He lists the House seats.
AZ-1(Kirkpatrick), AZ-2(Barber), AZ-9(Synema), CA-3(Garamendi), CA-7(Bera), CA-16(Costa), CA-26(Brownley), CA-33(Waxman), CA-36(Ruiz), CA-41(Takano), CA-46(Sanchez), CA-47(Lowenthal), CA-52(Peters), CT-4(Esty), CT-5(Himes), FL-9(Grayson), FL-18(Murphy), FL-26(Garcia), GA-2(Bishop), GA-12(Barrow), HI-1(Hanabusa), IL-10(Schneider), IL-11(Foster), IL-12(Enyart), IL-17(Bustos), IA-1(Braley), IA-2(Loebsack), ME-2(Michaud), MA-6(Tierney), MA-9(Keating), MN-1(Walz), MN-7(Peterson), MN-8(Nolan), NH-1(Shea Porter), NH-2(Kuster), NY-1(Bishop), NY-4(McCarthy), NY-18(Maloney), NY-21(Owens), NY-24(Maffei), NV-4(Horsford), NC-7(McIntyre), OR-1(Bonamici), OR-5(Schrader), TX-23(Gallego), TX-35(Doggett), UT-4(Matheson), WA-1(DelBene), WA-10(Heck), WV-3(Rahall)
Many of those of course have a very very low GOP chance of victory, I mean Lloyd Doggett?
I don't know how he came up those specific seats, he's either using hyperbole, possibly to mock pessimists on his own side, or he's a troll like the KOS commenters think he is. In either case, very amusing.
Why is a random poster on Kos now generating a posting on FR? Is that now a news source?
I think that the GOP could net 20 House seats, but, you’re right, 50 is out of the question.
I will believe that when the votes are counted and sealed, and not before. If anyone can snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, it is the ‘Pubbies.
Besides, it won’t make much of a difference. Will they pass a budget? Will the repeal Obamacare?
You don’t think that maybe this is a scare tactic to mobilize the lefties? Conservatives can’t afford to leave ANYTHING to chance. Forget what “might” happen.
muir_redwoods: "Theyre just waving the bloody shirt trying to mobilize the base."
muir_redwoods has at least half of it.
But the other half is just as important: if Dems win even one of those 22 Senate races, they will proclaim "victory".
Yes, this article is all about motivating their base, but it's also about managing expectations, so that no matter how badly things go for them, they can still claim to be "winners".
It would be a great night if that happens...especially if Malloy (Dumbbell-CT) lose to Foley. It would be an EXCELLENT night if the Connecticut state house went Republican.
Reaganite Republican (the poster of this thread) put it up on his blog.
I’m not a huge fan of people putting their blog posts on FR.
