Liberals Try Shooting Guns For The First Time
I read the title and thought it was about liberal democrats making political commercials in red states.
OK, I thought maybe they were anticipating getting mugged, but yes, maybe something was planted in their brains.
They won’t have any problem wielding guns when it comes time to send us to the camps.
I can’t even remember the first time I shot a gun.
Fear of inanimate objects is a mental disorder.
Whoever teaches a liberal, anti-gun individual to handle and shoot a weapon properly should be severely punished. I mean it.
I know of one lib who was adama asnt anti gun but went to a range on a dare, and ended up finding it was pretty cool. Now a ccw holder.
I am ambivalent about teaching liberals to shoot.
Haven’t seen the video but I hope they first sat through a class on gun safety.
And I hope that class was taught by a tough-as-nails Marine gunny who drilled it into their heads, at full volume, that safety, safety, then MORE SAFETY is the order of the day when handling a firearm. These pinkos need to be disabused of the notion that gun owners are all free-fire loonies and drunks.
Given that, how could they not have fun shooting?
Not all liberals are anti gun but almost all those who are anti gun are liberals. I see the pajama boy dude in the video as someone who would fire a weapon once just so
he could pretend to have some credibility regarding weapons. We know liberals are self righteous so it is not a stretch
to believe a number of them have things they don’t want the rest of us to have. And most of us know people who compartmentalize their lives. They will always vote liberal because it fits their vocation but they also have non work related interests. Think about some government or union workers you may know.
Invite a Leftist to the range and you may just change his/her mind!
That title is kind of misleading because they all liked it. One said he felt like a badass. One said she felt like she feels before she rides a roller coaster.
Their shooting experience conflicted with their ideology. Good!
I remember my first time. At the excellent gun club a few towns over, the youth team coach gave me safety instruction first, then put me on the range with a .22 rifle to try. I was 12 years old and had no experience with guns and was scared to fire because I thought the kickback would hurt my shoulder...
Coach chuckled and explained, took my hand and placed it the butt plate, then fired it down range so I could feel the amount of kick on my hand. I was amazed and pleased at the tiny kick, and quickly took to shooting like a duckling to water.
He was a fantastic coach, the best, taught us on the junior team safety above all. Being on the team, going to matches, shooting everyday- those are some of my fondest memories. He welcomed boys and girls alike onto the team without discrimination.
I guess my point is, one of the best ways to get more people to love the shooting sports is to be willing to teach girls and women, who might hesitant at first. Girls who love it grow up to be mothers who love it and teach their own children.
