Hazmat crews are currently on the ground at Logan Airport, after five passengers with flu and Ebola-like symptoms landed in Boston.
At this moment, specialists are inspecting an Emirates flight at Terminal E at Gate E6 at Logan. Three of the five passengers with symptoms are on their way to Boston Medical Center; details about the other two are unavailable.
At 5:20, the other passengers on the flight were allowed off the plane and went through customs.
Flu symptoms include a number of similar symptoms to Ebola, including fever, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.
Officials stated that the passengers in question may have been to West Africa, but had not been there recently. Officials did not say if they had been in contact with anyone who had gone to West Africa, however.
The scare comes as the Obama Administration has steadfastly refused to consider blocking travel from Ebola-stricken nations to the United States.
The name of the specific flight was Emirates Flight 237. It left Dubai 8:47 Monday morning local time (12:47 AM EST), and arrived in Boston at 2:45 p.m. EST.

...
This flight came in from Dubai, so that isn’t going to work. The guy in Dallas came in on a flight from Belgium.
Stewardess to stewardess: “Does this tuna smell alright to you?”
I’m thinking if this isn’t muslim terrorists they’ve sure been given a good idea. Allah will protect them, you know.
I honestly can’t blame the passengers if they go to throwing infected ebola people off the plane at 35,000 feet or into the engines upon landing once touch down has occurred to force the airport to clean up the runway. Should I have to sit on a jury to judge the passengers, I could not convict. To survive or not survive on an ebola aircraft should never have to be the question. Like a fish in the water, a bird in the air ... there should not be ebola allowed either place and certainly not on the wings flying to the Citizen Passenger’s homes. Just ain’t fittin’.
They can infect themselves, bring it here then we’ll try to get them well so they can do it again.
Five passengers having those symptoms, at one time. NO THANKS!!
Stay out da planes!
I know a left winger who flies in and out of UAE about every three weeks. Of course I’m sure he thinks this is all Sarah Palin’s fault. He is retarded.

Too late.

Obama/Biden presidency needs to go under the knife, with both sequeatered as lunatics, and the Speaker of the House appointed as chief magistrate pro tem for the safety and welfare of the Republic.
You might want to rethink chumming the airway with ebola remains. Other than that, rock on ...
That's a reason why it's unlikely to be Ebola.
According to another passenger, the five appeared to belong to one family. But, even if they were all exposed to Ebola at the same time, it would be highly unlikely for them all to get sick at the same time. This assumes, of course, that they weren't ill when they boarded.
My bet is food poisoning.
You are correct ... Maybe we can convert one of the bathrooms on the plane to an ebola zone and flush ‘em out over the ocean?
dang ... that means all the airlines over oceans would have to remove their ‘No Fishes Were Harmed’ sign before going ocean airborne bathroom ebola style. This problem is unfixable.
