Close battle with my Tigers right to the very end.
Go Royals!
This spoken by a Tigers fan who is coincidentally and geographically a Lions fan as well.
If it can’t be the Cardinals or the Tigers, then yes, I am going for The Royals. LOL!!
Oh, football.
You getting laid?
Congratulations and good luck! ... from a Yankee fan who remembers the Kansas City Royals of the late 70s and early 80s as one of the most underrated teams of all time.
Don’t forget to check the pine tar on your bats...
;)
It’s been a long time. Maybe I’ll jump on the bandwagon since my Rangers came up waaaaaaaaaaay short of the post season.
Joe Nathan has finally pulled it together for the Tigers. It took all season but now is the right time.
And make sure you have a favored umpire at first base.
The key is for Verlander to be Verlander.
Someone needs to kidnap Kate until the playoffs are over.
Twins fan with a soft spot in my heart for the Royals for many years.
GO KC!!
They’ve got some work to do, 2-0 A’s going to the bottom of the first.
“And make sure you have a favored umpire at first base.”
I think Denkinger is retired now
A’s up by 2 in the first.
Lester up.
Feeling thirsty?
Poor umpiring and Jack Clark won’t be around this year.
If the current replay system was active in 1985 it would have been Cards in Six.
I like the Royals well enough. I’d hoped they’d win their division. They have a good young team.
I saw two games vs the Dodgers at Kaufman earlier this year. It’s a nice stadium and atmosphere.
Tiger pitching has been slowly coming together all season.
Definitely some big guns. Scherzer, Verlander, Price, Porcello. Looks like Anibal Sanchez will be healthy enough to pitch relief and Nathan and Chamberlain obviously speak for themselves.
Hopefully Rajai Davis will be ready to play. Cabrerra’s ankle issue appears to be fading but he was never fast anyway.
I admit, I have a great Royals memory. It was from October 21, 1980, when the late Tug McGraw struck out Willie Wilson in Game 6!!! Sorry Royals fans, I am a lifelong Phillies fan, but I would love to see the Royals win it all this year.
We want payback for 1985, been a long time coming. See you in game 1 of the I-70 series!
...just another Cardinals fanatic
