I suppose this makes me a racist by pointing this out, but though the actual numbers of blacks on welfare is only about 1 percent more than whites, since whites are 72 percent of the population, blacks are over-represented in the welfare rolls.

However I would say illogical.
If you cruised all the welfare offices for chicks you would have more white than black chicks to choose from. The % of the race on welfare does not compare to the total population of the pool.
