The son of former US vice president candidate Sarah Palin did not start a booze-fuelled 20-man melee at an Anchorage house party as previously reported, it has been claimed.
Members of the Palin family allegedly became embroiled in a brawl at a friend's home on 6 September.
Early reports claimed that after arriving at the party in a stretch Hummer limousine, the former Governor of Alaska's son Track confronted a former boyfriend of his 20-year-old sister, Willow.
A fight then broke out involving about 20 people, leaving Track with broken ribs and father Todd with a bloodied nose.
Amid the tumult, eyewitnesses reported Palin screaming: "Don't you know who I am?". However, other reports suggested she was talking about her son, saying: "Don't you know who he is? He's a vet!", in reference to Track's military career.
A source has told Real Clear Politics that the blame for the ruckus lay with Willow's ex-boyfriend and not Track....

A worthless target attracts no fire.
I see enough of it up-thread here at FR.
This was worse! LOL
“Yet the candidate she endorsed for the Senate race IN ALASKA, just a few months ago, lost.”
True. Alaska’s influential Liberterian minority cost conservatives that election.
Sarah would be a stellar candidate. She simply is a natural, much like Reagan. It is why the left fears her so, and has gone to such lengths to demonize her. Too bad that she had to learn about the duplicity of the Rinos and the media the hard way, during a campaign.
My last one was when I was 46 years old, my oldest daughters husband hit her, I went to jail he went to the hospital, all charges against me were dropped. I payed for the divorce. Don’t mess with my kids or my family, ever!
If you feel the need to pay for Palin’s protection then by all means please do so, but leave me out of it.
Funny thing about human garbage. It spreads liberalism all over the web. Even here.
so Palin’s family was attacked and they attempted to defend themselves, and media laugh at it and try to pass it off as some sort of drunken brawl
Who guards your bridge while you waste your time here???
Time to check the instigator’s bank account...
IMO, we’ll see more and more of this kind of stuff.
There are two distinct “world views” out there that are diametrically opposed to each other.
One is a view that believes in the value of life, freedom, and the truth and is founded on a basic belief in God.
The other view believes in a ruling elite that has the power and the right to control and destroy any class of people as the state deems necessary and is founded on man, not God, as the ruler of the universe. The truth and freedom are useless and counterproductive and are to be extinguished. These are those who will eventually take thing over here, but only VERY temporarily.
Welcome to the outer edges of what will sooner or later be the end of the world as we know it.
Please read Post 22.
Yeah, you seem sane.
This would be covered no matter which if one of the former VPs was there or just candidate like Palin. The major different though, is Palin will get much more negative coverage than say, Gore, would get.
The Palins need to “brawl” on the southern border, or at the IRS or Benghazi hearings. THAT would get the media to cover these issues.
Good gawsh....she’s irrelevant, alright. Too bad 0bola’s ineptness isn’t so “irrelevant” ;-/
If you think the American public is waiting with baited breath for Sarah Palin to run for President, you’re delusional. And, I would bet a considerable amount of money she will never run for President. She’s having too much fun making money. Which is her right.
I have two daughters so I don’t blame you one little bit!
Show me where I posted I thought she would run. I was just pointing out that you show up on every Sarah Palin thread, so I was expressing a concern about your bridge.
Vice Presidents lose their Secret Service protection six months after leaving office. IIRC, Cheney’s was extended an additional six months. There is no way SS will (or should) expend taxpayer funds to protect a former vice presidential candidate.
Sarah Palin wasn’t ‘forced’ into anything. She’s a big girl who chose to run for and served as a state governor and who chose to accept the offer to run as a vice presidential candidate. She’s written books, had tv shows, and earns significant speaking fees. She’s not a poor yokel pulled from the cabbage patch. And,, like every other notable or celebrity, she has to engage her own security detail when and if she feels threatened. She’s made enough $ since ‘08 to afford whatever protection she believes is advisable for her and her family.
