Both sides lined up pretty much as expected over the death of Michael Brown in Ferguson. Social media is full of people on both sides making presumptions, and believing what they want to believe.

In the past two years several small outstate Minnesota cities have seen a huge influx of black people from Chicago, Minneapolis, etc. These rural cities have a population under 20,000. Same benefits just no public transportation. No one who works in the system really knows what prompted it.

So what was the alternative for GZ or DW given they were threaten? Wait to be killed? Solution was not optimal but beat the alternative. How would most people have chosen given the same circumstances?
One bashed in a man's head for no reason and the other bashed in a cop's face because he had just robbed and assaulted a store owner. Each grabbed for their victim's weapon in an attempt to kill them. No, Kathleen, the thugs got exactly what they deserved.

I spent 2 days on the ground in the area during the riots. Kathleen is full of carp. The middle class, black locals think it was a justifiable shoot. They were grateful to have us there protecting their stores and jobs.
I’ve been reading these kinds of articles by clueless white liberals for the past fifty years. What they’ve never been able to explain to me is why if they’re being oppressed by racist whites, black males kill each other at such high rates. Less than one hundred black males are killed by white cops every year. Black males kill about 6-7 thousand black males every year. Let’s see them explain that away.

I don’t know, of all the white-liberal angst articles lately, this one isn’t too bad.
She is basically saying that blacks are frustrated because they can’t be sure their black sons will make it to their 18th birthday (acknowledging black on black violence and young men making poor choices, etc.) and ends with this:
“In my humble opinion, those who care have it wrong, and the rest just don’t care.”
I would like to know what her answer is to the problem that she presents above. If she acknowledges that stopping the proliferation of fatherless children and government handouts are the 1st and second answer, then she’s worth hearing from.
Somebody ask Kathleen if she thinks Brown’s mother was sitting around worrying about if he was out thugging, stealing cigars, roughing up shop owners, assaulting cops and trying to get their guns? Gee I wonder.
When you have been taught all your life to lie and run from the police, to MF them every chance you get, when you don’t have a good father in your life to teach you what you need to know about interacting positively with the police, this is what you get.
The only rule my parents had for me when dealing with the police is don’t do things that will bring them to our home. If you do, the police will be the least of your worries.
Worked out well. Hell, I became one.

And beyond their eighteenth birthdays, and their twenty-fourth birthdays and their fortieth birthdays. My oldest is going on 49, and I still worry about her because she lives in DC.
But she isn’t going to ignore a cop telling her to pull over, or stand still, or whatever a cop might ever tell her to do, because she won’t ever have anything to hide.
You see Kathleen, law abiding citizens who are respectful towards cops rarely have anything to worry about. And yes, black America needs to listen to that.
And maybe we can also agree that Zimmerman and Wilson shouldn't have been expected to wait around and see whether or not Trayvon or the Gentle Giant would have eventually killed them.
That's the critical and very real aspect all the race hustlers and excuse makers choose to ignore.
You have it all in a nutshell; she needs to start helping herself. They need to help themselves. We can’t afford to take care of them anymore. These writers keep acting like it’s the Eighties and Nineties and as if the money can just continue endlessly. The economy is officially in collapse and they still yammer about all this idiocy.
