Obama is currently meeting privately with his cabinet to discuss the news from Iraq that ISIS has discovered scores of Weapons of Mass Destruction that Saddam Hussein had hidden before the start of the US Invasion in 2003 : reports Political Ears.
Buried in various spider holes and underground bunkers, the WMD stores were found in areas east, west, south and north around Tikrit and Baghdad. The existence of the WMD stores, unknown since 2003, have now become known. Now, known unknowns include ISIS specific plans for the WMDs.....
Well said.
I know it’s not right, but I really want these leftist journalists to experience some consequences for this - say, their own home city experiencing something negative because of their coverup.
Just for the record: this apprears to be the same story published and discussed a few months ago, about ISIS capturing the key chemical weapons facility at Al Muthanna. These stockpiles discoveries are/were well known now and back then (to anyone who wasn’t a rabid Bush hater at the time and kept up on things.).
I commented on this a while ago. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/3170144/posts?page=94#94
Now it’s not entirely clear from this blog or the one it cites as its “source”, where the stockpiles they are talking about are. Also, a report of Obama meeting in secret to discuss this is new information too. (If true)
Bottom line: if it’s true “new” stockpiles have been discovered this could be huge, not only to exonerate Bush but more importantly for security reasons NOW.
It would have been very helpful in other words if either of these blogs had been clear about where these stockpile discoveries took place. Al Muthanna or elsewhere?
Thanks.
Bill Gertz did most of the original reporting on this.
