But will that stop people from mentioning it and slamming this man? No. I don’t know what he was. I’m not convinced he’s a thug. After all, the gang signs were different ones. Looks like he’s stupid, not a gang member.
What I am convinced of is that I don’t want the police killing someone, shooting them when they have given up, over a fistfight. Over disrespect.
One day WE will be the ones fighting cops, if the cops keep on murdering the way they have been in the last few years (not this case, but plenty of others)

What I’m convinced of is that too many blacks are eternal, helpless victims, only fit for destroying and stealing what others earn.

How could somebody’s little boy be 6’4” and 300 lbs? According to some media accounts, he was practically a BABY! I’m surprised he was allowed to go anywhere at that age without his Mommy.

yeah, I know. Especially a threat if he was running away and put his hands up, huh.
Yep, just shoot him in the back, that’s the ticket!

Yes, no matter what the cop did, the looting, burning, breaking, stealing, and destruction was (grrrrr) WRONG

The autopsy will give a good indication if he was running away when shot...and I’m sure it has already been done.

“But a much different story has been told by Dorian Johnson, who says he was walking down the street with Brown when he was shot. He has said the officer ordered them out of the street, then grabbed his friend’s neck and tried to pull him into the car before brandishing his weapon and firing. He says Brown started to run and the officer pursued him, firing multiple times.”

I doubt anyone grabs a 6’4”, 300 lb guy by the neck and tries to shove him anywhere, unless the grabber is Andre the Giant.

The police department said this struggle took place in the officer's car. It sounds like in the front seat of the car. They are also saying the fatal shot was fired inside the police car.

The current legal expectation is that every shot a police officer fires is evaluated on its own against the expectations of Garner vs. Tennessee. A shot fired during a struggle inside a police car is probably going to be justified. If the suspect then is fleeing and is shot again then the police officer will have to justify to the legal system that those shots were necessary. Shots on a fleeing suspect, armed or unarmed, would have to be with the expectation that the suspect would be expected to commit further crimes that would either result is death or serious injury to the public.

Is an attack on a police officer sufficient to justify that? I don't know. Maybe if you include a known background of violent crime. It isn't a clear cut case. This isn't just a case of a cop getting mad for taking a beating. And it sure isn't close to the story told by the family or his friend.

As I’ve stated several times about this issue -

sweetums attacked the police officer,
who in turn over-reacted and unlawfully executed him,
probably in a fit of rage over being attacked.

Interesting. Does the clothing of the robbery suspect match that of Mike Brown? Also, what exactly did the perp steal, and was it recovered?

1. he was not a boy, but a man. I seriously doubt he was a gangbanger, that is so inflammatory and actually....dumb. There’s zero evidence of him being a gangbanger. Flashing different gangs signs doesn’t mean anything if they are different gangs, do you think he was a member of three different gangs? duhhh. no.
And then you call your fellow FReepers ugly names because you can’t stand this young man, for little to no reason that is true anyway.
Now your last sentence I agree with, absolutely. All gangs, hispanic, black, russian....all of them. and muslims too. The radicals, that’s easy to deplore, the moderates support evil with their silence.

This new information certainly supports the police officer narrative. If the police officer felt his life was in danger, then given the circumstances, he was justified. Now we know why Brown pushed the officer backing into the car as he was trying to get out. No doubt, Brown suspected that his crime had been reported and that he was about to be apprehended. The struggle in the car and the discharge of the officer's weapon in the car certainly must have convinced the officer that the suspect was not going to surrender easily.

We will learn what injuries the police officer suffered and perhaps some information on the physical size of the police officer. And how was the officer supposed to know that the suspect was unarmed? The police officer had a few seconds to process and react.

When posing for a picture? Only if the police cruise by at that exact moment.
However, I’d have one of those “down home moments” with my kid if he let a picture be taken of him flashing gang signs, or did it anywhere, anytime. Chump. (them, not you)

You fail at logic.
Justification of deadly force rests in the MIND of the shooter, PERIOD!
And the threat that the shooter felt is very important.
Would a reasonable person feel a danger to himself?

Well, he was “unarmed”, so, according to the leftist agenda in this case, “harmless”.

Or would he shoot out of rage at being physically attacked, even though the attack had stopped and the attacker surrendered?

It certainly may help explain what happened, but new information does not explain the rush to judgment by some of our friends here before they had the new information. Obviously, the better result is that the shooting is shown to be justified.

No, sweetums had just robbed a convenience store and the cop was trying to arrest him. Brown tried to beat up the Cop and take his gun and got shot trying to escape arrest. Period. Another one of Obama’s “if I had a son.”

Better for the police officer, but the narrative will change that no one should be killed because they stole $43 dollars worth of cigars. The crowds are still demonstrating.
