Google has a penchant for honoring left wing ideologues, facilitators, criminals by including them in their Google Search icon, symbolic of the high regard they have for left wing, liberal scum.
Today is no different. July 18, 1918 is the birthday of the man who became the symbol of the African National Congress, served in many positions within the organization.
Maybe those two heads of google are Soviet agents or sumping.
Trouble is Microsoft has it’s own kind of evil. Worse than Google’s.
Where does one go for a search engine?
SearchEngineLand gives you information on the latest search engines. It's worth checking out.
DuckDuckGo
Yeah, I’d recommend DuckDuckGo.
I find these boycott calls super annoying. Google frequently spotlights some of the finest western painters, thinkers, philosophers, writers and poets going into the renaissance period. I got addicted to reading about Spinoza after clicking one of their doodles years ago.
I will support companies like Google because they treat their employees exceptionally well. My yardstick is to look at the top 25 employers from Glassdoor that is compiled from employee ratings. A prime duty of a company is to treat its employees and customers well. What is more conservative than that?
Well, you could try the other side of the north pole. E.g., tell me about Guk anti-aircraft [as in, WTF do I go if I want to bag an airliner full of civilians?]. Hmm. Quite worthless, even though the gadget in question hails from the same side of the pole! I'd do better just reading recent FR threads.
OK. So how about Bing (even more leftard than Google, but that's another discussion): Guk anti-aircraft. Alas, not much better.
But the GOOG is right on it: Guk anti-aircraft! Image results.
Choosing technology providers based on FEC queries is a waste of time.
Today is also the 45th anniversary of Teddy Kennedy driving off the bridge at Chappaquiddick. I don’t think they want to remember that.
For like the umpteenth time, could you explain why this is important? I need my search engine to be accurate. I don’t much care what the company behind it decorates their page with. Why do you care?
I am not so weak in my faith and love for the United States that I need public companies to kowtow to my every whim and whiny gripe.
If you need constant coddling, consider this: Google has been at the forefront of helping Gmail users encrypt their mail against the NSA. Google pays well and treats its employees and shareholders well.
So if it comes down to a pretty picture of a flag or a company who stands tall against the abuses of the NSA, I’ll take the second choice every single time.
If feeling good matter more than doing good to you, I’m sure you’ll have another holiday to complain about any day now. August is National Catfish Month. I bet if you start now, you can work up a huge twist in your knickers by the first of next month.
I was thinking of a communist terrorist whose birthday is August 4, so your title made me think that Google had posted three weeks early.
Why not use Apple’s search engine? That has to be perfect.
It’s important. Very important.
The fact is, Google skews the news, and displays search results to reflect a very strong bias for left-wing,liberal viewpoints perspectives which you end up paying for, by losing out on a more evenly distribution of liberal and conservative points of view.
