That made me think again about this question: why doesn’t someone manufacture a modular clip that can be pieced together to make an arbitrarily long clip at some “future date.”
Then turn it into a script for a 3-D printer.

OK, how do they manage to feed the weapon? Hooking 20 30 rd. mags together, as in the video, doesn't make sense because they'd need a follower that wouldn't jam and a really long follower spring.
