On the 70th anniversary of D-Day, President Obama commended "the brave sacrifice of those who stormed ashore that day," but advised that "we must temper our admiration by the realization that the combat units involved were not racially integrated, no women were among the ranks, gays were still in-the-closet, and transgenders were not yet accorded full social acceptability they deserve."
Obama congratulated himself "for having the fortitude and initiative to move forward on these critical fronts so that we can finally glimpse the goal that the men who died here 70 years ago gave their lives to help secure."

Too much truth.
Was he chewing his gum during his speech?
Unfortunately it was not satire.
I take a bodacious Obama on his speech.
While chewing gum, taking a selfie and talking about himself.
Nice to know they scrubbed the beach before he arrived of any small rocks suitable for creating a symbolic gesture in the sands that bore American and others blood that fateful day.
The Fourth Term of the Clintons .. Nothing more.. Or just a wayward Jimmy Carter wannabe?
I wouldn’t listen to anything Zero says, including reading me my winning lottery numbers.
With all of the fault that Obozo finds with our WWII armed forces PC-wise, I would imagine that low-intelligence liberal/progressive fools find it amazing that we won the war.
I don’t believe those are Obama’s words, John. Normally he would’ve had 23 first person references in two sentences and there aren’t any.
Satire, yes. But this POS is so full of crap, his eyes need a bleaching from inside and he can put his so called support for the military where the sun doesn’t shine.
It’s a good thing most of the people there could not understand what he was saying
Perfect ;’)
It’s a good one again John. Thanks for the ping. Appreciate it.
They just HAD to put Obama on - I just about puked.
Other than that, one guy had the best quote about D-Day when looking out across the military cemetery:
"All of us gave some - they gave their all ..."
Sounds like a speech he’d actually make.
Krauthammer reminded us again tonight that General Eisenhower wrote a note before the Normandy Invasion taking full responsibility for the operation should it fail - had Obama been in charge, his note would have blamed George Bush....
