One of the oldest distilleries in the country is warning of what some observers are calling a

Ruy Dias de Bivar has a current tagline that says, (Sometimes you need more than seven rounds, Much more.)
I find it has a bit of correlation with the thread topic.
I visited a national park in GA a couple days ago. Was quite amused that they had a still & supporting gear quietly on display across the river from the visitor’s center.
I’ve learned that anyone touting any variant of “coffee/beer/whiskey is an acquired taste” doesn’t realize that BAD coffee/beer/whiskey is an acquired taste - GOOD coffee/beer/whiskey is deeply satisfying.
Whiskey under $10/bottle is nigh unto paint thinner.
Whiskey over $25/bottle is a pleasure. Especially if poured & chilled over fresh Georgia snow.
Boozed up zombies, undead threads, robots doing the can can, yes I can imagine it all.
Man is the inside of my head a tragedy.
I need some bourbon.
Canadian whiskey? That’s for December and January. Pendelton is marvelous, somehow having the faintest hint of maple.

Minds eye had me seeing Ken getting beaten with those question placards.
As long as Irish Whiskey doesn’t become too trendy, I’m happy. Tullamore Dew and Kilbeggan are good stuff.
Get the tricorder!

There is a very smoky blog pimp, however.
Your great creativity seems to be branching out nicely, Colonel.
I love the insane-eyed girlfriend meme.
Indeed.
It’s good to see you and the Viking Kitties again. I’ve missed seeing you and the furry ones. I love the graphic.
As for a Zot thread, this one was very interesting.
Not a fan of whiskey. I always preferred vodka, but I’ve been told the Dickell is the one to try. If it comes in an airline type bottle, I will try it.
I really like the peaty-smoky Islay single-malt scotches. I am apparently
unusual in that regard because most women do not like them, I hear.
Ha! All the more for me.
It all came out in the wash, so it’s okay. ;-)
Aw shucks, thank you TOL.
You’re far too modest, Sir.
Well done.
