A certain man from Montana said OLD CROW tasted like paint thinner.

***Coke for color, iodine to add taste and coal tar from hair tonic for aging.***
Sounds similar to the old trader formula for Indian Whiskey except for the Coke.
Add alcohol, iodine, a few rattlesnake heads, red pepper to give it some kick, and some plug tobacco for color and to make them sick. Steep, strain and bottle.
I found the recipe years ago in a Western magazine. It is mentioned in the movie THE CHEYENNE SOCIAL CLUB.
Indians loved it.

The OT does mention bringing in a drink offering of wine and “strong drink”.

Texas has some fine distilleries. Rebecca Creek, Texas Silver Star and Red River are my current favorites.

No where did I say "the same importance". It was the fact you went to a thread discussing whiskey to tell people abstinence is a better choice and saves money. That would be similar to going to a church thread and tell them the same thing. I never placed values on the thread but questioned your modus operandi.

Non-reponding Blogpimp calling itself "The Producer"
has just produced a self-directed lightening bolt.
I guess stealing copyrighted material
and pimping it here aint such a good idea.
(That and posting thread after thread without commenting.)

So long, The Producer (Posting History)
Hat Tip to Shibumi, who pinged me

Now *that* was a Zot. The only thing missing was a Viking helmet and/or automatic weapons fire. :’)

I feel left out. There is nothing on this thread about smoky Islay Scottish whiskies, which are my favorites.
Ardbeg is great. ;-)

After looking at your posting history, you deserve the full sized ZOT. Just posting threads and zero replies.

Fortunately for me, bourbon makes my mouth water, not in a good way. I’m a Canadian Whiskey man.
