We all know the top "rated" talk shows but do the ratings reflect your preferences? Are the highest rated necessarily the most talented? (video)

One thing I noticed here is that Hannity makes nobody’s list despite being one of the top 3 most highly “rated”. I think he owes much of his ratings to the fact that he was one of Rush’s early go to guys as a fill-in. Interesting.
I love Dave Glover! Haven’t been able to listen for awhile, I remember he was a big Ted Cruz fan.
Michael Savage and Chris Plante are my main guys ( listen to the entire shows ) ...Can take Alex Jones ( actually his fill in David Knight is much better ) and Jeff Kuhner in smaller doses .
Good choice and order.
#1 GlennBeck
#2 Rush Limbaugh
#3 Mark Levin
#4Jerry Doyle
#5 Sean Hanity
There are some great up & comers out there like Buck Sexton, Doc Thompson, and Mark Bellinger.
Thayrone X on Michigan WAMM radio is also pretty fun to listen to.
Mohler, Swanson, Deace (equally every day), others occasionally.
I admit, I have grown really tired of Savage, with his apparent mental disorder, and his constant complaining and trashing of the other talkers, while praising himself. He really needs to get a life.

I occasionally visit the ‘throne’ room at night and turn on the radio to hear Savage’s voice. .....I agree with all you said about him, Alex. He’s a narcissist nut case!
Rush - we’ve been listening to Rush (off and on) for many years now. Of course, we’ve gotten irritated at him from time to time (mostly for his occasional lapses into foul mouthedness); but he has been the best. Steyn is good enough that Rush calls on him when he’s going to be out of town. Some of the competitors are just too mouthy and tend to sermonize.
Steyn has a regular segment on Hugh Hewitt on Thursdays, or used to anyway.
Mark Levin, Mark Steyne, Jim Vicevich, Howie Carr and Laura Ingraham
You must live in the Puget Sound.
Dennis Prager(when available)
Hugh Hewitt(when available)
John Carlson
Michael Medved
Mark Levin
I would have included Kook to Kook before Ian Punnet left. Noory is getting worse and worse
That’s sort of my feeling. After the bits on Hugh Hewitt, I was very excited to hear him fill in for Rush, but discovered he doesn’t wear well after 3 hours.
Bryan Suits—I got on as a caller a few times when He was in Seattle.
John B. Wells—way too overboard with conspiracy theories, way too overboard.
Different strokes for different folks, I guess. Masters is one of the scariest people Ive heard on radio, frankly.
Maybe listening to Savage us condusive to the activities in that room.
I really don’t have a top 5. Levin is the one I prefer above all; he’s consistently good. Second place would be Mark Steyn when he subs for Rush. Rush himself can still be good, but he can also be boring when he starts droning on about Apple products, tea, or his childrens’ books.
