Some snipers. Any Nevada deer hunter could take them out at 500 yards. Gotta spend time in the desert to understand the desert.

The Second Amendment will never be outdated or unnecessary because there are always going to be enough people willing to shoot their fellow citizens if properly motivated and adequately compensated.

Tortoises and jack rabbits at such a distance are easy prey for many casual target shooters and regular hunters with 50 and 338 and even 7mm mag rifles.. I suspect the mercenaries are good marksmen but there are many good citizens that can do/shoot just as well. I think the guys pictured need to cover their backsides. If they are ex military they know about enemy engagements.
