I’ve wanted to get one with a camera since I saw such a thing at the Brookstone store, but it was a lot of cash. When I was a kid, the model rocket accessory most desired was the still image camera payload. :’) Naturally, if I’d had a color digital camera drone when I was a in my teens, none of the neighbor girls would have had any privacy at all. Second, no, it’s not always 1,200 AGL. FAA regs in many places are down to the ground, such as in a five mile radius around an airport.
Our Seal Point Himalayans would have a blast with one of those drones hovering in the family room..
