Ole Hank got him some Cadillac dealerships or something like that here in the Big ATL (as the new age rap hipsters call it)......you can bet your ass I won’t be buying anything from him, ever.
Some things never change.
The title is the same as my #45 April 9 reply to this thread on the same subject: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3142555/posts
From the article:
“racial grievance industry”
Very well put, I will make sure I remember that one.
Ain’t my hero. Now, then, ever.
Just another black racist
This is but another example that you do not have to have and intelligence quota above 50 to hit a little white ball with a stick.
Oh, and I know how those car dealerships go with famous athletes names work also. A name only association with trusted overseers there to run the joint. Even then it does not always work out.
Obviously, many blacks do not want to be treated like all other Americans. They want to be regarded as victims and given special i.e. unconstitutional treatment. The current situation can't go on forever. Black Americans have to decide whether they want to be like other Americans or permanently placed on a separate level always a ward of the state and permanently regarded and incapable of adapting to American society.
As a little white kid back in the 60s, I idolized Hank Aaron, and his recent comments felt like a punch in the stomach. I still have an old issue of “Sport” magazine with Hank on the cover.
When I think of Aaron I think of Bellafonte, Winfrey, and a few others who show their true colors AFTER they make their millions...........
I searched the Atlanta newspaper a few days ago looking for a local comment on Hank’s statement. I couldn’t find “HANK” or “AARON” in the search. Can any local ATL Freepers update us with the local response to Hank’s statement?
I always thought Aaron was a class act. I guess he decided to come out of the closet.
What is racism ? It is a denial of obtaining equal protection of the freedom of opportuity to obtain all its goods and services from a society offered to the rest of its members because of race.
Racism is not a disagreement of policy with a person because of their race. To claim that as racism when the equal opportunities exist the accuser should be required to prove their charge.
PROVE IT HANK !
Times change; faulty brains don’t. Aaron is yet another example of the wisdom of not granting role model status to an athletic moron just because he can hit a ball. He matters only within the context of his actions in the small community of baseball. Outside that, he’s just another clown.
Oh Henry !!!
