Breaking through the main stream media's blackout and exposing actual facts and truth about Common Core IS possible.
One all-volunteer group in Georgia, About Common Core (ACC), is on a mission to eradicate Common Core in every state - quickly. They seek to make Common Core THE litmus test issue for most voters in all 2014 & 2016 local, state & federal campaigns.
The Formula
ACC seeks to quickly turn millions of citizens into mobile empowered teachers by giving away a powerful, easy to use app for instantly share tidbits of Common Core's rancid truth.
Why?
An estimated 70% to 80% of adults are uninformed, unthinking or indifferent to the issues related to Common Core. ACC's national awareness campaign was engineered to help citizens, parents, teachers, activists and voters become effective mobile teachers. Their non-threatening smart app introduces "the other side of the Common Core story" to any person - in minutes. ACC believes targeting the uninformed to heighten awareness is "the whole ball game." As millions of new people are introduced to the full truth, the majority will vote to protect kids - which means voting against all who support Common Core.
The ACC app is free. ACC believes every app on a smartphone or tablet is perhaps 50x more valuable than a yard sign or bumper sticker for political candidates. Why? Because even the smallest bit of Common Core truth leaves a sour taste in most people's mouth. Once voters understand which candidates support Common Core's secretive design, crony capitalism, experimental curricula, anti-American, fuzzy math, privacy invading, hyper-testing, "one size fits all" indoctrination ecosystem, they will reject those candidates.
Breaking News
Pennington_ELA_Team_0327(Atlanta, GA, March 27, 2014) In a ceremony held at the Atlanta Airport Crowne Plaza Hotel, Georgia's GOP gubernatorial candidate and former Mayor of Dalton, GA, David Pennington, became the first recipient of the Education Liberty Award for his bold opposition to Common Core State Standards. Incumbent GOP Governor Nathan Deal is extremely vulnerable to being unseated in 2014 due to his pro Common Core cronyism.
About Common Core seeks people of all parties, faiths and priorities, professional athletes, actors/actresses, military heroes and high profile individuals interested in earning the Education Liberty Award, to contact us. Every bit of high profile media attention that shines on terrible education policy is valuable. Every Education Liberty Award recipient presents an opportunity to issue a national press release and bring critical attention to Common Core. We're certain StudentsFirst, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Department of Education, inBloom, PARCC, Pearson Education and other pro-Common Core advocates won't be terribly pleased.
A Fast Start
Since their March 18, 2014 launch, with only word of mouth marketing, almost 2,000 citizens across America installed the "About Common Core" app on their smartphones and tablets. The ACC team believes their national awareness campaign will rapidly gain attention as new, high-profile citizens meet the requirements to earn the Education Liberty Award. Mobile app downloads will grow in direct correlation to award recipients and grass roots activism.
ACC's fight is all about defending every child, teacher and family from exposure to the destructive, unproven, privacy invading, anti-American influences of Common Core. Their fight isn't a right/left, black/white, rich/poor or atheist/Christian issue, it's a moral issue. And a constitutional issue.
ACC is encouraging every American to immediately begin using all their free tools. Their strategy, website, mobile app and marketing tools are a gift with absolutely no strings attached. Anyone can begin using these tools in any manner they deem appropriate.

I was all ready to browse on over to “About Common Core” and send them a donation, but all I get is a picture of a smartphone, and an option to “Dowload an App”. I’m one of the dozen or so U.S. citizens still using dumb phones. I used to do Tech Support for a living for crying out loud, but now I guess it’s time for me to just fade away.......
No download without some serious explanations as to why each is required.

Here’s something that’s going to be lots of fun.
My school, unfortunately, was chosen as one of the “test cases” for CC testing this year and we are being required to test students on CC standards over the Internet — on computers WE DO NOT HAVE on WiFi hook-up THAT WE DO NOT HAVE.
Testing is supposed to start tomorrow, don’t know when the tablets, laptops or whatever it is we’re supposed to use are being delivered — or when the WiFi will be set up, we’ve been promised WiFi for FIVE YEARS NOW and it still hasn’t been installed.
Our kids have had NO practice typing anything (for written answers), let alone experience with a tablet or laptop with which they’re unfamiliar. Keyboarding and typing classes were eliminated a number of years ago. Texting is not typing.
Not to worry — the tests cannot be done since there is no way to take them over the Internet.
Other teachers are worried, but I’m not, let it implode, as these things always do.
Thanks so much for generously considering a donation to About Common Core. We purposely decided to not accept donations to eliminate any and all perceptions of any conflict of interest. Our mission is pure education - citizen to citizen. The greatest donation we could ever receive is when one patriot shares this app with dozens of others. Thanks again.
I’m not sure what list of “permissions” you’re referencing. This is the very first I’ve ever heard of any problems or hurdles to download this completely free app. We’ve had more than 2400 downloads to date. Could you possibly do a screen grab of the issues you are having? I’ll do everything possible to eliminate any technical issues. Thx.
