Love him, hate him, revile at his rants, he's the highest-paid radio host in the Bay Area; Michael Savage, syndicated talkie that has destroyed his ghost rival, Sean Hannity not only here, (KSFO), but NY, (King of the apple), Chicago, Detroit, Dallas. It's not even close in the important radio demos that count although some advertisers are still weary of Savage's discourse. They might have to reassess that position.

A position he may well be more qualified for.
Hannity is only useful in the run-up to an election.

There is no reason to attack a longtime friend of Free Republic to build up your favorite radio guy. Let him stand or fall on his own.

Savage comes off like a liberal when he knocks Hannity for having worked construction. I guess if you didn’t go to an Ivy league school you must be stupid in Savage’s mind. And enough talk about his dog.
Not sure if correct but I believe Savage is more educated than any of these radio guys. I believe he has a PhD. None of the others comes close.
I cannot say that I agree with Savage on everything but I do like him.

Note that your little pretty boy was casting some nasty aspersions about Savage. Success is the best revenge.
Wallbanger is way out of his league against someone like Savage. Sean is just intellectually inferior and cannot entertain.
Subsequently he too action into his own hands. He made a tape pretending to be a talk show host and had friends pretend to be callers as he discussed the conditions that led to reverse discrimination against him. He sent the tape to Bay Area stations and got a one hour show in the middle of the night on weekends.
Thus his teaching career and goals of lifelong tenure fell away and the renegade of conservative libertarianism grew to a nationally syndicated program earning more and becoming a far greater influence than the members of the academia clique who once plotted to keep him down.
This is kinda like a cage match between Michael Medved and Bill O’Reilly. Nobody would notice if not for the promoters.
I think his PhD is in botany or such. Not sure that matters much when talking about politics. I do listen to him sometimes but turn him off when he starts in on other hosts. Comes off as insecure.
Not particularly a Hannity fan here.
I could enjoy Savage much more if he were not so obsessed with his own perceived greatness. His jealousy of the other talkers gives him a bad image. Some days I just have to switch him off.
I can understand why he has no email or contact address on his web site. He is not able to accept any criticism.
I agree with Hannity most of the time. I just don’t like listening to him.
I cannot listen to Savage for too long either. Truth is, I don’t like political talk radio. I guess it is just not my cup of tea.
