Ukrainian revolution has won today and it's very emotional for me, since that is where I was born and raised. 82 protesters are dead, the president is running, government thieves are being hunted down and brought to justice, communist party headquarters ransacked, and all remaining statues of Lenin and other communist leaders torn down all over Ukraine.
I spent all day watching live feed from the victory rally on Independence Square, or Maidan (pronounced as My-DONE) in Kiev, wishing I were there. In fact, this is the first time in almost 20 years that I've been in the US that I wanted to be back in Ukraine and celebrate. So many memories, so much to say. So excuse me if I don't write more now. Perhaps, later.
The Empire is about to strike back...
Let’s hope they find some Jedi and New Hope and the good guys win freedom in the end.
I still don’t have a clear picture of what all this kerfluffle is about. Who are these protesters?
People who are fed up with a corrupt, tyrannical government and decided to institute a fundamentl transformation on their own.
Here’s a pretty good primer from Jeff Head that I read last night.

The protestors are mainly those who want closer ties to the west and the EU as opposed to the Moscow oriented direction Yanukovych was taking the country....
I think I read here on another thread its pretty safe to assume if they are tearing down Lenin statues that they are the good guys.
Execute the fascist bastards minor and major, like Mussolini. Otherwise they’ll just lurk in the shadows.

Is it any wonder obama wants to take our guns, expect another full court press on gun control, it is rumored that he has no plans of leaving office in 2016.
A lot of people were thrilled when the Czar abdicated, I don’t think most liked though what ultimately replaced it.
I am sure these people know the history. They may be overpowered but they won’t be fooled.
??
Why do some people and the media continue to call those who violently overthrew a tyrannical govenrment, "Protestors"?
Would you prefer I said “revolutionaries”?
Did the Masons approve?
