Dirty Dozen: 12 Senate Republicans Who Voted to Silence Ted Cruz
D.C. Clothesline ^

Everyone knew that the debt-ceiling deal would pass through the Senate on Wednesday. Even Ted Cruz had to know it. As soon as the House passed the deal on Tuesday, the writing was on the wall.
Even so, Ted Cruz promised to fight for America once again and filibuster the legislation. Would that have changed things? More than likely it would not have changed the vote. But Ted Cruz is the voice of a lot of Americans who are fed up with the Washington D.C. business as usual crowd. Evidently tee times and the beltway bar scene are more important than listening to the voice of an elected representative, because 12 republicans turned on Ted Cruz Wednesday including his own Texas sidekick, John Cornyn.
This morning I feel like my own tongue was cut out, because there are few in the Senate who speak for me and Ted Cruz is one of them.

Cornyn is getting absolutely incinerated. If his facebook comments reflect the primary voters hell be lucky if his family votes for him.I don't do the FB thing, but left his office a very unfriendly message. I told them that he should redo the ad that says "I stand up to 0 bummer every time". Should have added, "I support 0 bummer and I approve this message" instead. Chicken excrement. Claims to be a conservative. BS!

Though I respect and support Sarah Palin heavily, I hold her responsible for propping up McCain in AZ last election cycle. He should have been, and could have been, primaried out if not for her support. As for McConnell ... I'll buy a round of drinks in Wisconsin when Kentucky retires that schmuck. Go Bevin!

Midge’s Dirty Dealers. Just heard earlier that they had the roll call read differently, so as not to differentiate the NAYs from the Yays.
Ol’ Midge and his band of thugs won’t stop at anything. Just like their Dim counterparts.

have been looking for a definitive list of Tea Party backed candidates to vote for in the primaries not good enough just to be associated with the tea party....do your homework and find out what these people stand for.....vote for people that you won't be ashamed later to admit that you voted for them

Johanns is retiring, he wants to make sure his pension is funded and he can stay in DC on the cocktail party circuit.
What a smelly old douche.

Grahamnesty didn't vote with them but he made a statement supporting them, including this: "Hopefully the other people voting with him helps and
hopefully people see it as an act of pragmatic leadership. So now we know the GOP-e defines cowardly capitulation as "pragmatic leadership." God help us.

I will go on record right now stating that Ted Cruz will outlive or outlast all of those people, providing he hires the best bodyguards available.

The American people will stick their shoes so far up their asses, they will taste leather in 2014!
I suspect, and, I am hearing from others around me, this sell out and back stabbing in the US Senate against Ted Cruz, truly was the final straw for me and them, and the American people!

How many Americans would like to travel to Washington an drag these RINO’s out of the Congress and tar, feather them, then run their sorry asses out of town on a rail?
I know I certainly would!

I wonder if Johnnie boy will ever get the message. The rate he is going, he will be lucky to survive the primary. I am NOT voting for him in the primary. I want another Ted Cruz.

Well, FWIW, NumbersUSA just gave Steve Stockman a B rating and Cornpone got a C, on Amnesty stance.
