E.J. DIONNE: Well, this did not say, "ObamaCare is a job killer." On the contrary, when Doug Elmendorf of the C.B.O. testified, he said that this will probably net create jobs. Just think about the money put in people's pockets when they're saving on their insurance from subsidies. What he said is some people might temporarily or leave the labor force.
Think of two people, we're supposed to be for family values. You have a couple where somebody wants to leave the labor force for a couple years to take care of their kids. Under the old system, if that person tells the health insurance, they didn't have the option to leave. Now they can. What you're doing is expanding people's choices. But you're also in the end going to create jobs out of it.

Actually, E J, I’m thinking more about the money taken out of my pocket to pay for those subsidies. I’m one of those strange beings called a productive member of society the left sees as an eternal cash machine.
The stooped! It hurts!
No money is given to the Obamacare member.
The Doctor or hospital gets all the money .
All the money comes from what can be borrowed from China.
The Poor stay poor, and the Chinese get richer.
Yes, there’s definitely a Liberal echo chamber out there, one that deals harshly with any sort of challenge, let alone dissent.
Have a Lib friend who posted the “Obamacare means less workers which means more freedom!” nonsense to significant mutual backpatting by all his Liberal friends.
Then someone else spoke up about how she and her husband had been hit with the much higher premiums and deductables, and would be financially challenged to pay for them. She was basically dismissed as someone not intelligent enough to select the best/right plan on her exchange.
At that point I stepped in and told her that she really just needed to sit down and shut up; that as someone clearly wealthy/affluent (otherwise she wouldn’t be paying more, right?) she should just be proud that her family was paying it’s fair share to allow poets the freedom to chase their dreams without actually having to ... work.
The thread almost immediately achieved critical mass and went thermonuclear :-D
“then how do I pay for clothes, utilities, mortgage, gas, etc?”
You get welfare, food stamps, housing, etc. to the equivalent of $30,000 after taxes.
If he ever had a brain he lost it during his education. Hard to believe anyone can be that stupid.
The sad part is just 2 yrs ago Journ-0-list Stephanopolus telegraphed the “war on women” game plan in the first R POTUS debate.
Then Limbaugh talked about it for weeks.
Even an uninformed schmuck FReeper like me understood it thoroughly.
And STILL some R candidates never got the message...
Poor Bush had to beg China to purchase our debt.
Caliph Baraq just has Geithner/Bernanke/Lew/Yellin create new minibucks while the markets applaud.
A far easier approach.
Would you trust a federal employee to be able to find the other end of the pool?
I own a nice place....you can’t get welfare if you own where you live, can you?
Usually you have to go to Celine Dionne for this kind of economic brilliance.
You can if you put into another relatives name, like a kid.
I would have loved to have seen that! It frightens me how the O-bots swallow, with gusto, anything coming out of this administration and then spit it back out to us with no critical thought in between. If Bush were telling them how much better off they would be without jobs, they’d be rioting in the streets.
And the woman complaining about her premiums probably voted for obama and will vote for Hillary. They’ll go anywhere their “Pied Piper” masters lead them. And they’re leading them straight toward a very high cliff.
Hey E.J.,
Having a lisp and a lazy eye, doesn’t make you smart. Just sayin....
