A Republican no more
Oh, and POTUS isn’t the biggest flip flopper and liar in the world?
Everything else you said is purely speculation on your part that you can’t prove. We’ll never know now about Romney but we sure know about the result of POTUS that had no more elections to worry about, now don’t we?
I blame everyone who could have stopped this madness and didn’t even try. Those that cut off their nose to spite their face.
The politically homeless welcome you.
“Im tired of stupid people who cant seem to grasp the nature of the battlefield.”
Mirror meet face.
Congratulations! Next step is to vote against any incumbent who isn’t a TEA party person.
Since Californication has open primaries what is the point of Party Affiliation?
Comes down to principle. If you vote for Romney or McCain, you are voting for and sanctioning ideals you do not believe in...amnesty and moderation on gay marriage for two examples. I voted for both of them as Obama was a worse choice. I will not vote for a “moderate” again...first of all, they are losers (now proven twice), second, why should I deny my personal beliefs and support someone who doesn’t value my beliefs. Better I stay home. Let the GOPe wither and die. They are going to be running into a major financial crisis...too many feel like me and have joined the ranks of the independents...the grass roots money is drying up. Being independent doesn’t mean you don’t vote for a republican, in my case it means I will only vote for a conservative. Lindsey Graham=NAY. Tim Scott = YEAH. Simple as that.
Like you, I will no longer vote Republican unless a good Conservative candidate is on the ballot who supports the right to life, balancing the budget by CUTTING waste, fraud and abuse, supports enforcing our borders and immigration laws (no amnesty!) and is committed to energy independence here in the U.S. -- which is a key to restoring our manufacturing base greatness.
All other Republican candidates can go straight to hell. Do not pass Go, do not collect $200.
Congratulations!
As for me, I’ve gone to the next step in my Voter Recovery Program and am working on shaking my voting addiction. One Election At A Time.
Since the uniparty sets ballot qualifications, decides who may vote, dictates how the elections are to be conducted, and then counts the votes I don’t see much point in spending time with it. I think I’ll clean out the fridge instead. Sure, it won’t change anything. But at least I’ll have a clean fridge.
You cant cover stupidity with Snark
“Where does becoming an Independent fit into either of the above plans?”
You’d be better off asking “where does voting fit into our being more free?”
“When people wake up and flee cults, it always rattles and upsets the members-in-good-standing.”
Just damn, but that’s a good comment. Thanks!
“That just means you are voluntarily depriving yourself from the ability to vote for the Republican candidate who might have a chance of beating the Democrat. Congratulations!”
BWAAHAHA! So in 2016 you can wait in line to choose between jabba the christie and PIAPS. Heck of a menu choice there.
The one and only reason I don't tell the GOP to stick it where the moon don't shine...
In Florida you can't vote in the primary outside your party affiliation...
I completely understand. I have chosen to stay in so as to be able to vote in the primaries. However, if the Republican nominee is a RINO I will vote for the Constitution Party candidate.
Depending upon how you qualify open primary there are 20 or so states using that form.

In many states, this "proud registered Independent" won't be able to vote for a true conservative candidate in his state's primary....therefore, he's now politically emasculated.
Crowing about it also leads other unthinking or politically-naive folks to follow suit, only to discover to their surprise at the polling place that they will not be allowed to vote for a Ted Cruz or a Sarah Palin or a Mike Lee.
The next election is the most critical in our nation's history. Primary elections will tell the tale. We have to play with the cards dealt us at the moment.
To those who advocate re-registering as "independent", please take your self-defeating, narcissistic advice to an "independent" web site where you can crow about your superior intellect and remarkable "independence" to a host of other losers, drop-outs and political castrati....all of whom will be politically impotent in the next election except, maybe, as catastrophic spoilers.
Leni
I not only live in California. I live in Sonoma county where voter registration can be 75-25 with whopping Democratic majorities. The Republicans have all they can do to find a candidate who is never heard from again. Tea party candidates? You won’t find any such animal in this neck of the woods. So I am hunkering down until I move to Texas. Here I think us pro-life, limited government, conservatives will soon become the illegal aliens. By the way, I can vote in either party’s primary. Oh boy! What a prospect!
Come to Texas friend and vote for Ted Cruz in 2016!!!!
Do you feel that way about Ted Cruz?
You might as well give it up....the people who you are speaking of evidently don’t have any roots in logic......in coming 1...2...3...!!!!
