In his press conference on December 20th, President Obama urged the House of Representatives to support the Senate’s immigration bill, which passed 68-32 in late June. Among the concerns cited by Americans who oppose reform are that immigrants will take their jobs, drive down wages, increase criminal activity, burden the welfare system, and reshape the cultural dynamic of the country. - According to the Immigration Policy Center, immigrant males between the ages of 18 and 39 (which constitute the greatest portion of the prison population) are five times less likely to be incarcerated than are natives.
- A 2011 survey by the Pew Research Center revealed that 92 percent of second generation and 96 percent of third generation Hispanics speak English proficiently.
- A 2010 Gallup poll revealed that Hispanics attend church services more often than non-Hispanic whites.
- Since an influx of immigrants means an expansion of the labor supply, many assert that the result will be less jobs and lower wages. However, as asserted by Jason Riley, a member of the Wall Street Journal editorial board, “The number of jobs in the United States is not static. It’s fluid, which is how we want it to be.”

OK, Ganag: I have problem and I need some really practical input.
The last week or two I have had to restore the computer to a previous date, and that has been happening more frequently.
I’m thinking (correct me if I’m wrong!) I may need to transfer everything to the slave, and/or reformat OR *gasp* get a new computer. The latter is most likely WAY out of my abilities, but I am open to ALL suggestions. If someone has any inklings, I am willing to provide what info I can. I just canNOT justify a new computer at this time...
ANY help will be appreciated!

After that, try to find out if it is a bad update or hardware issue.

In the morning, I will transfer the entire hard drive to the slave. For now, its been photos and documents, but I think it’s gone beyond that.
The rest, I’m not sure how to do because I don’t know what’s causing the problem. I get a white screen when the system is going wonky, and it won’t allow me to do anything else.
So I reboot and restore. And that indicates (to my uneducated mind) that there is something going on that I need to be on top of.
