I would normally not ask for a favor like this. However, we are a homeschool group that is competing with large public high school groups that already have more access to funding than we do. Hi! I wanted to update all of you that helped vote for our team last fall. Although we didn’t win this grant, we did make it to the Championship in St. Louis! We just finished the KC Regionals and our little homeschool team won the Regional Chairman’s Award, the most prestigious award at FIRST. It honors the team that best represents a model for other teams to emulate and best embodies the purpose and goals of FIRST.
