I visited Yorktown in 2003. It was amazing to stand on the very ground where General Washington accepted the British surrender, where they “grounded their arms.” To see with my own eyes Redoubt #10 where Alexander Hamilton and his men stormed the defenses. To see General Washington’s campaign tent. Truly amazing and hallowed ground.

Although semi-fictionalized, I enjoyed Tom Wilkinson's portrayal of Cornwallis in Mel Gibson's Patriot. As a credit to his acting chops, he jumped sides and gave a fantastic performance as Ben Franklin in HBO's John Adams.
