Megyn Kelly so wants to be the moderate in that lineup that she couldn’t even get to the end of the first page of a post on my website before she rushed on the air to scream RACISM!! Like a little spoiled liberal, with no research into the matter, no call to the author, no knowledge of who the author even is and no conservative credentials to be making such claims in the first place, Ms. Kelly is getting her centrist slot off to a rousing start and should be receiving invites to all the right upper east-side mainstream media parties soon.

If you’re wondering what I’m ranting about, I posted an article by a talented writer named Kevin Jackson, who had written a satirical piece about race and the presidency, entitled; “America Needs a White Republican President”. That’s right Megyn, you bashed an African-American! Or as Kevin calls himself: “American.”
Anyhoozer, apparently the sarcasm was lost on Ms. Kelly because Tuesday night she went on the air of her nifty new show and called yours truly, Joe Wurzelbacher, a racist for writing the article. I guess Fox News only provides Greta, Sean and Bill any research budget because a little simple scrolling would have directed her to the other half of the article over at “The Blacksphere.net” – Kevin’s website where millions read his blog and other writings on a regular basis.

I liked Kelly. But her show isn’t appealing. She is trying too hard to be the female Bill O’Reilly. Maybe she will settle in but it is too much showmanship for me at this point. She is beautiful, smart, and ambitious. But I don’t care to watch her new show. BTW what does Rush call O’Reilly? Oh yes, O’Baxter! That cracks me up! Here is why:

Always liked Megyn on BO’s show as a GUEST commentator, but having watched her show can’t say she’s strong enough to be an evening anchor and carry her own primetime gig. Afternoons, like she used to have? OK. But not the prime 9:00 slot.

Brett Baier and Greta are the only two shows I will watch on Fox. One is news with a decent panel and the other is actually fair and balanced. Even Hannity drives me nuts with his constant confrontations and packaged responses. O Reilly is insufferable and Megyn is a closet socialist.
Exactly. Its a game but truthfully “conservative” media fails horribly. Where is the turn about? Where is the ridicule and focus on leftist extremism? Instead we get labeled by one confederate flag in a whole demonstration where as they can dress up like pink vaginas and its no big deal. I’m really sick and tired of it. Tried of the double standards I just want to punch them in the face.

I've often thought Shep and Megyn were likely hoping for a job with one of the older networks some day, and that both try to avoid saying anything that might cost them consideration for possible future openings.

In my opinion, Megyn Kelly has been overrated. She always impressed me as a smart, ambitious woman but very calculated, right down to her over-styled, over-made-up, plastic appearance. I hope she apologizes to Joe but if she does, it may be perfunctory. We'll see.

Your characterization of her is definitely right, especially when it came to the Martin/Zimmerman case. About the same time Shep was emoting about “that poor, mudered child,” she was askd for her legal opinion about what GZ had done and, without paying any attention to what the Fox local affiliate was reporting about the case, blithely opined that GZ was probably guilty of second degree murder, definitely a very unprofessional act for an attorney. At least Shep had the excuse that he wasn’t an attorney.
